You can use any iphone with iOS 17 or higher since it is a build in feature. Same with android devices. The mode has been created to help ppl who has an issue using a normal mode but can be also - as you can see on the video - used by someone who would like to switch to the 'dumb' mode / phone
I’m hoping apple makes a premium dumb phone including your basic apps like (call, messages, clock, calendar, calculator, maps, camera, gallery and music streaming app) if they shrink the phones battery it would save a lot of money because app won’t be draining it. I want to get away from my phone but still have the features of what a phone should have and nothing else
I am looking for a dumb phone or my kid.. no way am I trusting "dumbed" down smart phone my kids might break into it and restore it to smart phone, no thank you.

So does it not allow you to download apps? The whole reason I need it is because of social media addiction
When you are in that mode, nope..you can't download anything
@@ultravaluetech24 but you can go to settings and change it? if yes, that would completely defeat the purpose.
Oh so it does allow app installation if not in that mode.

Yes, the same mode you can find in Andoird devices but it's called different I believe
Settings -> Accessibility -> Assistive Access
Only works for IPhone devices IOS 16 and up ( I think)

It stays a high sar phone. A real dumbphone has a lower sar rate
cant use whatsapp on the dumb phone mode, because there s no 4g in this Mode :/

at that point just delete your social apps and have some self control, its the only way you'll have a phone that has all the apps you use
