I bet I’ve talked to the same guy who is currently helping us. If he helps us fix it I’m sending him money. Louis. Great guy.

Mine did the same, I took out the two wires and opened up the delta charger then soldiered same gauge wire for the positive and negative. Works, but.... it still gets those wires pretty darn hot I am still nervous leaving it plugged in...

Mine is doing the same thing. My fuse fried and melted the fuse holder plug that had the 3 -20 amp fuses. I cut out the holder and it is charging but it get extremely hot and blows the fuse. I did not check the plug on the charge yet but I'm sure it is burned as well. Something is causing it to over heat. Im sure it is from to small of a wiring harness. Good luck on a recall from Polaris. I bought the warranty and it's just about impossible to get even warranty wk done. Polaris has to approve every warranty clam bc they don't trust their dealers-technition to diagnose. Takes forever for them to approve hoping that the customer just jives up and pay for the repair..

I would do it the right way and take it to the shop because if you feel confident and once you get those wires off and it's not what you expected you're going to take it to the shop anyways so if you enjoy your toy if I was you I would do it the right way. That's just my opinion if you don't to much care about it that will be a good experience and it will help people out in the long run but I'm pretty sure that last prong that is five is there for a reason so Why deleted it??

If you think taking it to the shop is the right way then you’re mistaken.
If had mine in the shop twice and they couldn’t figure out what’s wrong.
I’m sure there’s a lot of good Polaris mechanics but there are also a lot of Polaris mechanics that don’t know what they’re doing. You can take yours to the shop but as for me, I’m going to continue driving my Ranger that I fixed myself with the help of Louis.
