Where did you find a dual shaft motor like that? I have been trying to find a bigger dual shaft motor for a long time but the only ones I can find are way to small for a siren.
Dude this is awesome!!! Personally I’m glad you chose to make this one; it looks to be going along very well! Do you plan on making the individual projectors as well, or is this going to just be the “core”?
I will be making all 22 of the horns and the top intake cone as well as a bottom "pole" mount eventhough it will just be a stand to keep it off of the ground. It will look as close to the real thing as I can get it to. The horns are the most difficult part to design in the correct size right now and it will probably take a few tries to get them right.
Thanks! And to answer your question I don't know. I thought about making it in to a kit or something and selling it that way but it would need some refinement before I could do that. My friend made a 3d printable model five and we thought we might start off making those for sale but don't know if it will ever happen.
Greetings :) I'm planning to start a project for a collection of warning sirens around the world by asking permission & giving credits for the original respective owners when using their videos. May i get your permission ? :)
Sure I guess, although in this video it is a uncompleted homemade mini model of a federal signal 2t22 . I have another video of it a bit closer to being finished.
3:11 It sounds like a British CastleCastings/Carter siren!
3:08
It’s a WW2 siren
Sounds like a 3t22
Because thats what its supposed to be.
2t22 or 3t22 mixed with CS8 or Carter cuz Carter and CS8 has the same sound when CS8 is going off without dampers being in use
Yo this sounds like ww2 charter siren
It's literally because it has the exact amount of ports

I found that one on Amazon
Can you give a bit more info on the motor? Voltage etc?
Sounds very accurate
But not very precise

Awesome dude! I don’t think I would ever be able to do something like this.... are you looking to sell any?

If you would make a functional mini siren that mimics the real deal like a model 5, 3t22, etc id pay about $100 for one

aliultimate009 awsome
If you will print and build one, ill pay you $100 for one!!
Nice.
How many RPM is this motor?
It ranges between 0 to 8000 rpm. I am using a motor speed controller to limit it around the same 3500 rpm as the real thing.
You should make a 3t22 instead of a 2t22.
Giveaway that siren please
dude that is a 2T22 and maybe a 3T22
Yep that's what I was going for. If you watch my other video on it you can see it's almost complete as a 2t22.
Sounds like a 2t22
Because it is a 2T22
