I understand. But maybe in January you could use that kit. Really interested in seeing what your take is on that kit. You tend to use the pattern paper which is what I like. Everyone else on here seems to be focusing on just one stamp set
Jaditelady173 Mary Yes, I am a huge fan of using pattern paper on my cards. I like the stamp sets as well, but mostly use sentiment stamps since I don’t color often. I will probably use more Pink & Main kits next year since I do enjoy them. 🙂
@@KristieMarcotte you should try The Stamps of Life card kits. I like hers the best. The price is very reasonable (better than everyone else's) and you get a lot in them. I like the sentiment stamps in them too. I just recently seen only 1 person doing videos on her kits too...so I'm sure they would welcome you. I get her monthly stamp and die set too. And everything always coordinates well with the card kit too.
Hi Kristie, have you ever done a craft room tour, either as a video or still pictures? I would love to see your tips/ideas on how to organize everything, especially the things on your craft surface and drawers etc. In reach of where we sit. I've tried to organize so many times but I still feel like I spend half my time reaching for stuff and piling things on the edge of my table!

Kristie have embossing powder, gun, etc...but I don't have that anti-static powder you talk about and use when you make cards. Can I still emboss sentiments? Is there something I might use in place of it to get a similar result?
Jaditelady173 Mary You can still heat emboss without the anti-static powder. It just helps prevent stray embossing powder. You can use a small paint brush to wipe away the stray pieces. I’m not sure about any alternatives though. The powder is fairly inexpensive and a bottle lasts for a very long time.
Loved the quilt cards. Have never seen that frame before. Also the first card looked lovely.The reds appeared quite orange and looked great with the blue! Do you really pick up your work that you stamp and adhere it immediately or does it look that way because the filming is sped up?
Wendy Well Thank you! Quilt cards are always fun to make. Yes, I do adhere the cards right after stamping. The inks I generally use dry quickly. And if I think they won’t dry fast, I will heat emboss the stamp. Just like I did on the quilt card. 🙂

Just found your blog and absolutely love all the cards. My favorite is the pink quilt one. I've noticed in some videos that you leave the card base showing and in others you don't. How do you determine which ones will still be visible?
Holly Angel Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. I always enjoy making quilt cards. It usually depends on the background paper whether I want some of the card base showing. If the background paper is mostly white, I usually want a thicker matted layer and won’t have the white base showing. For example, the card with the red tag. If I only added an 1/8” red glitter paper layer instead of the 1/4” layer, I think there would have been too much white on the card. Other times, it really just depends on my mood.
Kristie all of your cards turned out fabulous as always. I have 3 cards that I just love, which is the little Volkswagon bug car, the Holly background card, and the Pink Wreath. The Pink color wreath would make a pretty winter wedding card for sure!
