For pulling text from image, try this on Mac: 1. Screen shot 2. Bring up on "preview" 3. The bottom right you should see an icon of text in bracket [---]. Click on it 4. It should highlight all the text it sees 5. Bottom right: You should see an option to copy text.
You can do similar with the pixel. I was looking at a screenshot of a long message in another language the other day so downloaded the screenshot and opened it with photos on my phone at which point the lens function highlighted all the text and wrote it into English for me. It's crazy amazing what these things can do today and they didn't even exist when I was a kid 😄
This is still great for images where the text is for example formatted like a table, normal ocr copying does not handle it well, while GPT can replicate the format exactly

I’ve been putting off so many things that need to be done because I get frustrated with my hands, this is going to enable me to catch up on all my work that involves computer

One thing I find curious/confusing is...while is very cool it can pull text from an image, and it looks like it does a great job of that...why are ai tools in general having trouble with the reverse...adding text to images. They tend to be all garbled and weird even with adding simple slogans or phone numbers as overlay text to images.
FYI, no upload buttion but I did notice title up at the top - DALL-3. Dall-3 displayed in the beta box. While the servers were busy, I was able to discuss the image I prompted and got an amazing image ... what a tool discussing what to add or change about the image gpt gerernated! Pumped I am ...

I would assume yes. I don't know if it will be able to see the images it generates automatically, but you can certainly pick one and attach it to your next message, asking for changes. Since the prompt it used will still be in context along with the image, it should be smart enough to try modifying its prompt in a reasonable way for your changes.

A sneaky update Apple release about 6 months ago. You can also do with your iphone in camera mode. One of my fav hacks.

They are rolling it out in increments, it seems. I use a VPN, and then I get the button. It's not available in Norway yet, at least.

For some reason I don’t have image upload ability through the app but if I go to chat gpt on the webpage on the iPhone then I can upload image
If you have a Mac you can copy text from images, the same works for iOS, don't know why windows still hasn't implemented this feature
