I cry listening to this song sometimes because it does the best at showing just how dark the story of Five Nights at Freddy's is. A man who lost his sanity, leading to a chain reaction of suffering throughout the family, eventually spreading to others. Even the vocals themselves have a melancholy and dismal type of energy, which conveys how tired they all are, and that they just want to rest.

He's still working on the VR versions of said games, as well, there's gonna be console ports! The games are about a family, and how one by one they were picked off.
William: Crushed to death in a suit of his friend's making after being confronted by the spirits of his victims
Elizabeth: Also crushed to death in an animatronic, but of her own father's making. Her spirit remained trapped in the animatronic for around 40 years
Crying Child: Head was (unintentionally) crushed in Fredbear's mouth, after being placed there by his older brother
Michael: Had his inner organs scooped out by the animatronic holding the spirit of his dead sister, and was worn for a week as a skin suit. His spirit held on to his body until about 30 years later where he was finally burnt alive, along with the spirits of his father and sister

as a newer fan as of late 2019 /early 2020 this was the first fnaf song i ever heard. it used to give me shivers down my spine because i didnt fully understand how complex the lore was, i didnt know what the song was about and though i did i still somehow knew something very tragic was happening to the people mentioned in the song. i miss those days.
