he's covered so much ground with his music, his catalogue is like the soundtrack to life. it brings me tremendous happiness to know that conor is OK and conor is still producing music. i hang on every word! what a legend
This year on Conor's birthday (February 15) the first thing I did was wake up and watch the video for Zigzagging through the light since the video takes place IN 2024💖 then I watched "a little uncanny" 😊 and of course, closed in out with at the bottom of everything🎉 THANK YOU CONOR. Your art and music has been the biggest joy in my life, next to having my children which one who is named after you and Elliot smith 🤷♀️💯✌️💖 thank you for this interview
Cape Canaveral is a classic.🎼
Conor you are the best song writer of all generations.i don't know what the hell this dude is talking about.when they say your the new bob Dylan I think it's an understatement.pure genius.got me through my childhood, I felt like you were expressing exactly how I felt..and still till this day (almost 30) I still go back to all those old albums...everyday and every night really touched me.i fell in love with lifted first...digital ash, letting go happiness, cassadaga, wide awake, don't be frightened of turning the page...still till this day I love all your solo albums...and btw upside down mountain is one of my all time favorites for sure.i love you conor.thank you so much
everything he touches is gold. I've listened to everything and it's all special
I love you Conor...take care of yourself...we need more music.....when ur gone.....who will there be
Amazing clip Phil! Definitely think of Conor Oberst as one of the best lyricists out there, doesn't get enough credit outside of a couple Bright Eyes records for sure
Very honest and respectful interview session!
Thanks for this Phil. 🙂
Gossamer thin....a delicate arch carved by the wind
A collaboration of compendiums and an honest true self representation of the world through the bright eyes of connor oberst
For what it's worth, I love Desaparecidos. ❤
i will die on the salutations hill its my favorite album hes ever done
"Can not wait for the next shit you gonna drop !"
"Do you think i am an asshole ? "
:)
Conor Oberst is like the "Eminem" of the folk world.
please…. just no…
I can image it in a way. lyricism
These are my two favourite artists.
Rap is like a mountain
Except that's a bad comparison. Eminems lyrics aren't poetic. He's turned rap into a math equation of how many syllables you can rhyme with each other with his music in the past decade or so
Edgar Allen Poe reincarnation?
man im stoked to see a conor interview, but this interviewer can barely speak english this is fucking painful.... poor conor.
