Also my favorite albums. Digital feeds my ever loved depression. in my eyes, Digital has the most instrumental texture. There was obviously a lot of time put into creating the darkness in the album. A masterpiece.. Cassadaga pulls me up.. Also amazing and has a lot of depth.
Cassadaga is probably one of my least favorite... I still love it to bits, though. Fevers and Mirrors has always been my favorite followed by Digital Hash In A Digital Bong.
This new record is like a mix of the two. These were also my two favorite. Going to take some time to digest the new one but I think it's going to be adjacent to these two.
God this is such an AMAZING RECORD/songs... (WHEN I HEAR BEAUTIFUL MUSIC IT'S ALWAYS FROM ANOTHER CONOR SONG.... )LIME TREE No one would riot for less... AND MANY OF HIS SONGS I FEEL I RELATE.... ITS ALMOST NAUSEATING IN A HEALTHY WAY I CRY BUT LOVE IT. Your so real conor!!!!!!!
Oh, Gosh I love you I couldn't watched it on that page because it wasn't available in my country, and because of you I can watch it. I love you sooo much... You upload so great videos.
When i 1st heard brake man i was sitting at the bus stop going to my at that time bf house... just outta the hospital. He's AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and one would riot for less my beautiful ex played 4 me... Awe si beautiful
Amy Amiss Going in a couple weeks, any suggestions as far as what you would for sure do? Mushrooms, perhaps? Where did you sleep? I’d really love to hear any suggestions.
@@Cinnamineral he made a lot of music alone as a teen he’s brothers and all he’s brothers friends were deeply rooted in Nebraska music that was being created. They helped him out a lot at first but he’s vocal skills weren’t at peek. So he stopped making bands and started making music on he’s own and then everyone came in and helped
This made me laugh so fucking hard. His description of "I Must Belong Somewhere" was hilarious hahaha. But it's also funny because I used the exact same word as he did to describe "Lime Tree". Somehow, its nauseating... in a good way....
1. lifted 2. fevers 3. everyday and every night 4. oh holy fools 5. I'm wide awake 6. letting off 7. collection 8. digital ash i know there's much more but that's all I fell like putting down...I have and love everything conor has touched since commander Venus...cassadaga is when the quality started to slip a bit for me because you can tell he's not nearly as tortured and depressed as he used to be and that is what I want from his music.
how does this only have 555 likes !! one of my fav albums of all time , thank you Conor and Bright Eyes
I always felt this was the best bright eyes album in terms of pure feel and flow. Hard to really rank them. They're all good. But this is my favorite
Cassadaga is my favorite Bright Eyes album. Digital Ash is a close second. This is amazing btw
digital ash rules

lifted is cool too. i'd say that's my favorite. i've tried to get into cassadaga, and i can't seem to.

This was the first record I was waiting for, as a fan, to come out.
I can't believe it's been ten years seance this album came out. I need to revisit it in the box set.
15* 😬
This album still fucks❤️

He's doing a track by track pkay by play seems pretty sobes too!!! So cool
“Coat check dream song is the most natural song on the record” that’s the song I think of when I hear cassadaga. Interesting!
I think my favorite song is still Lime Tree. Just now watching can't wait to see what he says
Have you heard the story behind that song? It’s even cooler when you know how it was written?
@@th3gr81 what's the story?!
Look at how much his demeanor and cadence changes when coat check dream song is mentioned.
This man and album still gives me some sort of feeling in my stomach/pelvic region. 🙃
But especially the man
He is beautiful.
Thanks a lot for sharing. 🙂🎸
What a video! Hidden gem.
Oh, Gosh I love you I couldn't watched it on that page because it wasn't available in my country, and because of you I can watch it. I love you sooo much... You upload so great videos.
He looks like he's tripping
When i 1st heard brake man i was sitting at the bus stop going to my at that time bf house... just outta the hospital. He's AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and one would riot for less my beautiful ex played 4 me... Awe si beautiful
By the way, if you've never been to cassadaga Florida, go.
Amy Amiss Going in a couple weeks, any suggestions as far as what you would for sure do? Mushrooms, perhaps? Where did you sleep? I’d really love to hear any suggestions.
his description of Limetree couldn't be any more accurate
He sure does.
I was hoping he would confirm classic cars was about Winona Ryder
I love how he just made this in his house. He's so mellow on camera.
idk he looked so depressed ?
sorry, i shouldn't have said that without watching the whole thing.

wow, i thought "if the brakeman turns my way" was about death
Make A Plan To Love Me always felt to me like it was him writing a Leonard Cohen song
This made me laugh so fucking hard. His description of "I Must Belong Somewhere" was hilarious hahaha. But it's also funny because I used the exact same word as he did to describe "Lime Tree". Somehow, its nauseating... in a good way....
this was never my favorite BE record, but god damn Conor did a good job at explaining the songs
Lol, either he is extremely sarcastic about his descriptions or he just didn't wanna get into the truth of it... vague in general.
Cool to see this though. Long been one of my favorite albums.
love love love
He's right about one thing. Upside Down Mountain is the greatest album ever made. Cassadega is the second greatest album ever made.
Totally Agree
Lifted is actually my favorite album of all time
I think Cassadaga is first.
Cassadaga is good but his 4 previous albums are waaaaay better in my opinion.
This is awesome! Where the hell did ya find this?
5:30
I'd like to know who the female vocalist is in Soul Singer in a Session Band? Bonnie Paine from elephant Revival by chance?
VanGoNow The girls from Eisley are on a lot of the songs, they are such an amazing band and maybe the best harmonies that I know of.
Conor is my favorite lesbian
underrated comment
I’m wide awake is his best album followed by salutations or the other way round ✌️❤️
omg i love ariane grande

Nailed it on Cass. But looked at in the scope of his entire discography, its stature has grown considerably.
Four Winds > every rap song
Fevers and mirrors is better
