Great content .. I have a similar problem where I need to highlight members of a dimension based on another dimension .. e.g highlight all customers who does not have orders for a particular week .. final dashboard has 2 controls where you select a week in one and missing customers will be highlighted in another .. Is this something we can do as a vedio content

Great Video! How do I find shapes/vectors that will change color? I am able to find a lot of shapes that work, but once I assign them to color, they change to boxes or circles.

Hi Andy - Would you have any advice on how to stop a filter action overriding a filter set at a worksheet level? When I select show ‘all values’ it removes the filter I have at a worksheet level. Many thanks

Wouldn’t expect a response since this is an older video, but had something functionally changed with Tableau since then (I’m on 2022.1) because everything is working GREAT, except my buttons swap places when I select them!
Using the vid as an example, if I were to select “office supplies”, that button an icon would swap with furniture! Any ideas?

I don’t think that would be an issue related to version. Honestly, I’m not sure why it would do that without rebuilding it myself. I’d double check the steps were followed exactly, especially the actions.

Hi! thanks so much for this! Tiny question -- I tried placing it into a story but they did not work/ no "interactivity" as when they were in the dashboard. I found that it can only show where it is currently at in the dashboard. How do we make it move as well?

How do I set actions as button filters for two or more measures not having a common dimension (category in this case). Say I have two graphs [graph 1: sales overtime. column - MYD date, row - sum(sales)] [graph 2: profit overtime. column - MYD date, row - sum(profit)].. Req: Can't use parameter to switch between sheets.
I want something similar to the first 20 seconds of this video. When I click on profit button (the graph below should show up profit), when I click on sales button (there should only be sales graph below and not both). Don't click on any button, no graph below.

jemin gohil set actions works on dimensions so if you don’t have the dimension the set is built upon in the worksheet, then the action won’t work.

I could only see 3 options for setActions.- Fliter, Highllight and URL and not ""Change Set value".

Did you choose Shape as the Mark Type? Once you do, the Shape shelf will appear.

How to add Apply button on Start and End Date parameters. its very annoying for the selection of date range. I have to select both Start and End date then i have to refresh the data. Do you have that kind of scenario?

Thanks for showing the video! ... question, I created round buttons and when I click on it you can see a square border around the round buttons ... is there anyway you can get rid of it? Secondly, if I click on a button the other 2 buttons completely fades out. Is there any way you can make it not as faded??? ... if I click away then I can see all 3 buttons

Gregory Hall sadly there’s no way around it that I know of. Search the forums and see if anyone has come up with a solution.
