      After only 500km on my first euc (ks16s), I am definitely preparing for the upgrade, and the Patton has been on the top of that list before this journey started.

    I watched a lot of your videos over the last year when I started riding EUCs. Your video about v13 having geared towards much more experienced riders, and your video about the v11 pointed me to the perfect direction to get started.
    And then 7 wheels later, acknowledging that I'm not an average rider anymore makes so much sense. Thank you for this video!

    I’m 70 and enjoyment means a lot. I took awhile to get used to/adjust p settings FOR my OG Dualtron STORM. Coming from an old NanRobot D5+2.0, I was initially way over my head.

    Really enjoy my S19 I have put over 600 miles on it now. But just as a companion wheel to my bigger faster Ex30. Nice to have a wheel I can easily put in my trunk yet still get 50 miles out of at decent speeds. Happy going 25 mph some days. Really underrated IMHO. I honestly pick it 50 percent of the time to ride. Specifically at night with its great lighting to see and be seen.

    I have a King Song S16 Pro arriving tomorrow. I'm excited to be part of the EUC community even with my slow "kids" unicycle. I really wanted the V14 but the S16 Pro will be fine. I definitely won't be able to hang with EUC riders in my town but that's okay. I need to walk before I can run.

      The S19 is great ( I hear), but I'm very happy with my S16. To me, it's the best combination of power, distance, and affordability. The main reason I prefer it to the S19 is that it's more affordable. You're going to love it.

      Sensible guy…It’s really dumb to buy a massively big, heavy wheel before you an even ride…that’s why there are so many very low mileage big wheels for sale…it really isn’t as easy as it looks on TH-cam! Much better to start on a smaller lighter wheel..then, after a thousand miles or so, you will know what you enjoy, what your use case is and which type of wheel you may..or may not…want to progress on to.👍

    Just started riding less than a year ago at 58. First EUC was an Mten4. Cheap, light and low pedal height were some of the features I wanted. Couple months later I upgraded to a V11. Increased weight was a big problem at first but it was much more stable at higher speeds. Reviews are always hyping the Lynx, ET Max etc. The weight is just too much for me to handle. I have never and probably will never go faster than 30mph. Recently got an S16. Faster and more nimble then the V11 but at the end of the day I enjoy the V11 the most.

    • @SeekTooUnderstand
      @SeekTooUnderstand 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Bought the T4 Pro also since the price drop. Too good to pass up. I use it for commuting, trail rides, and a little bit of off road. Curbs are the most I jump. So far the waterproofing on the T4 Pro is holding up well. I've printed some side panels, handles, bumpers and pads out of TPU. Super customizeable if that is what you want, good just keeping it stock too. Super easy and fun to ride and is holding up to 100+F temps outside during the heat wave. I throw it in my trunk and ride when I'm out & about. I'm 6'2" and around 220 lbs, getting 55-60 miles in easy riding. Less if I push speed.

    Yes to all of this. I started riding in 2017 as an efficient way of commuting to grad school. And as someone who's crashed and been to the hospital several times, as someone who rides in all seasons - even blizzards - reliability and water resistance are extremely important. I learned on a KingSong and have also ridden InMotion and Begode.
    My rec for newbies would be the V12 right now for currently ~ $2,000. My current commuter is a V13, but I'd probably get a V14 if I was starting now and was splurging a bit.

    I agree with the speed aspect of it. My first PEV was the updated Nami Burn E 2 Max with PMTs I bought over 6 months ago. I like that it has the power but being almost 47 years old I learned I don't need the absolute top speed and often find myself going slower and enjoying the outdoors and nice weather while riding easy. I also want an EUC and my budget is $4k but I know I'll crash as most do beginner or experienced so I stick to 2 wheels. I've witnessed some nasty falls on EUC far more than scooters so idk. Time to ride both a EUC and my Nami is also an issue. Also so much time before the winter seasons hits

    • @baryton76
      @baryton76 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I compared s16 pro to s19 pro and decided to take s19 pro because it is narrower in the upper section and is more comfortable and nimble despite larger wheel size than s16. Bigger battery and bigger power as well, more headroom near max speed as well. Finally mentioned already 20 inch tire which gives it more stability in city cruising. It is better choice for bigger guy than s16 pro. Power pads are comfortable for city cruising so if you want jumps on the trail yes s16 would be better but in that case I would just buy begode extreme or V14. So s16 as a city wheel is not ideal choice.

    Until they make wheels with interchangeable rim/ battery sizes, we need more than one for different use cases. This is no different. You'll be shopping again if you buy this wheel... lol

I imagine they think I'm weird but at least I'm keeping myself amused! But the horn is good on a serious note. I can do a gentle beep on the bike trail way before I come up on someone so I don't surprise them and they can gently get out of my way and the interaction is much more polite and I'm not surprising or scaring anyone.

      I personally would say the 16 Inch wheels are best for learning, and for having fun after you learn. Something you won't grow out of quickly.
      I have the V12 that go up to 45 mph and 90 miles range at under 15 mph. the only downfall is the V12 don't have suspension. So I would say a 16 inch Wheel WITH Suspension.
      If you buy a wheel that is too small, once you learn riding you will quickly g out grow it and want more power and range, which means you will have to buy another wheel.
      It is smart to buy a wheel between 50-70 pounds, that go up to 40 mph and get at least 70 miles range, then you won't have to buy another wheel so quickly once you learn to ride

    Old guy here (72 years old), I started with V8F back in August 2021, and bought an 18XL V2 (spiked pedals, power pad protrusions at front and back of upper pads) April 2024. EUC is just one of my hobbies, and I ride about 40 to 50 miles per month, and only ride on paved bike trails or the private streets near my home. I didn't want the hassle | maintenance of suspension that wouldn't do much for me. The 18XL is lighter at 53 lbs, making it easy to transport to local bike paths. The private streets near my home are cambered, which could be an issue for wider tires, but not an issue for the 18XL's 2.5 inch wide tire. A 3 inch knobby tire would also be OK, but would be noisy.

    Go back a few years when the V13 or Master Pro came out they were saying the same thing as they say NOW with the Lynx, GT Pro and ET Max...and the next wheels just now released. And they always Excited over it, like the new wheel is the first to go 55+ and get 100 miles range
