Never tamper with any safety equipment!
If you buy/have one of these, or something similar, NEVER use it to activate any sirens that are not yours or part of a system!

Love it! ❤ very cool!
Awesome man! I love how you activated your Whelen with it too
Should be titled "Whelen E-747 Unboxing and Demo". Very nice.
I wasn’t sure if it worked when I was filming this video. Someday I’ll make a demo.
Very cool to see it sending to a siren!
Thats very cool acquisition
Can you make a demo on how to hook up the sound to a speaker so you can hear the dtmf codes without needing a scanner?
Maybe, I don’t want people to misuse that to hack systems. The instructions are in the manual tho. The manual tells you which wires are which.
I wished I get one of those. But nice.
Youre welcome for finding the link for you
What was the name of that bottom cord connected to the baofeng?
@@OklahomaStateSirens one is a 3.5 mm and one is a 2.5 mm headphone jack.
That's so cool! I really want to buy a type of encoder some day.
There’s a whelen E-2010 for sale still.
@@cooldomino1800 I'd buy it but I spent all my money on a scanner lol.
what frequency does the radio have to be on to set the siren off? And how do you tune it to your sirens?
@@SirensOfTheMidwest it’s a UV5R and it’s set to the same frequency as the whelen’s radio board which this one is in the VHF range.
@@cooldomino1800 Thx I have a uv-5r and im thinking about getting a whelen have a good day/night.
@@SirensOfTheMidwest you too! Make sure you use it responsibly.
Nice! May I ask how much it was?
It was $250.
@@cooldomino1800 Not bad, thanks for the info
@@cooldomino1800 by any chance do you have discord?

@@cooldomino1800 oh of course I accept, thank you.
Is there a cord that you can hook up a e2010 encoder to a scanner?
@@OklahomaStateSirens possibly.
@@cooldomino1800 how did you do it, I’m just trying to hook up my encoder to a scanner with no siren connected
@@OklahomaStateSirens I connected the audio out and ptt to the radio. I’m not going to make a tutorial because I don’t want people to misuse the information.

That’s coming soon hopefully.
