Jambo Kenya: Amboseli National Park(Episode 2) - Bidding farewell to 2023

Signing off 2023 with this video from Kenya. Hope this has been a really good year for you all and 2024 will bring in lot of happiness in your lives.
This video is about our visit to Amboseli National Park which is located in southern Kenya near the Kenya-Tanzania border. It is one of the best places for viewing big game animals such as Lions and Elephants and is one of the most popular reserves in Kenya. This video explores the fauna you could see in the month of August, but this is not an exhaustive list though. Luckily for us, we had magnificent views of the iconic Kilimanjaro too, especially in the mornings when the clouds/heat haze didn't interfere with our view.
It wouldn't have been possible to see as many species if not for the knowledge of "Ben Mugambi" from Ben's Ecological Safaris (www.bensecologicalsafaris.com).
We were supposed to be booked in Ol Tukai, Ben's preferred accommodation, but August being a busy month, we ended up in Kibo Safari Camp (kibosafaricamp.com/). Our stay was comfortable and the staff very helpful. So, don't have any reservations in recommending the camp.
