Excellent presentation style. Your videos must take a long time to prep, shoot, and edit. Fantastic detail. You are creating a Haynes manual by video for your Aston. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences.
Steve a nice video as always. I think we see another example of the difference between cars is California and those in temperate northern climates such as the UK. My car’s mirror mounts were very corroded (they’re Alu so they go furry) and the only solution was a repaint. Luckily Aston Martin Works completed that before I collected the car. The ceramic coating looks like fantastic stuff. I’m thinking of applying it to the car’s paint.
Excellent question Mark. I read the instructions warnings, but here is a fuller explanation from them avalonking.com/blogs/guides/5-ceramic-coating-safety-tips-everyone-needs-to-know

Great video Steve, I painted my drivers side mirror and it’s slightly different in colour to the passenger side , but no one has noticed 😂

My DB9 vanity mirrors on the sunscreens are like aluminium foil i.e pretty useless. Do you know Steve if an upgrade is available?
Why do you need to keep ceramic coating off your hands?
