I enjoyed all the fresh fish meals that are totally foreign to anything I’ve ever had. It’s great that your family has such interesting pallets. You’ve figured out ways to tackle all kitchen type tasks in such a small kitchen area and without running water. Love watching your family interact and live in such a small space.

Thanks for sharing these videos with us. The more I watch I’m realizing how unique each of your boys are. Hunter is such a guys-guy, the sports, fishing, grilling outside, hanging with dad. Bennets over there chatting with the neighbors, experimenting inside the kitchen, his frequent use of math with the cooking and pricing.. and then there’s Weston. I know parents don’t have favorites but us outsiders can, Weston is a gem, he’s so sweet the way he kept saying thank you had me melting, and he’s so brave the way he always is up for the challenge with the big boys. Everett is precious, he’s got five wonderful influences around him, it’s gonna be fun to see how he starts to evolve into his big kid self soon. Oh and Luna, I can’t forget the daughter you deserve, purrfect in every way!

Watching the eagles on the beach was spectacular, it great that you take from nature what you need and give the rest back to the wildlife. The little shop had a wonderful variety of things, and yes the prices are high but it must cost a absolute fortune to get it there. Luna was telling us all about how you abandoned her 😄. A suggestion for the pudgie pies, after buttering the pie irons sprinkle some cinnamon in the melted butter. Also, we love using Pillsbury flaky biscuits instead of bread when we make pudgie pies, whether savory or sweet, while camping.

What a beautiful view from the cabinet. I would build a more modern cabin. It would be worth it, having such a beautiful location.

Saffron comes from the crocus flower... The cabin looked like fun, but like you a bathroom and my bed etc are needed at the end of the day!

They stock up when they are in Anchorage every few months or order groceries from the main land!
