yeah, with the benefit of hindsight, all of their "leaking" of plotpoints that we all know turn out terribly and all of their "outsiders trying to act like insiders" reassurances are just so hard to watch. Like, where would any of their confidence come from? They had basically nothing under their belts, and they took over one of the most interesting and creative shows and fucking bombed. I don't even know them, but I hate them.

Community must be kept alive and if accepting the new guys is the key I will be happy to do so. I'm sure they will do a great job...
I would love to see the Troy and Abed relationship go in to full fledged Bert and Ernie mode and Jeff Winger go through a motercycle rebel period, but I dont want to tell the writers how to do their jobs, they are so good. THIS SHOW IS AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!

Alison Brie's face at 30:28 reflects my feelings regarding a potential graduation. I think that Community is one of those shows that doesn't need and shouldn't need this kind of thing. The college is what unifies the group into a single force, taking some of the characters out of it would make it feel like friends or something like that...

It is funny looking back on this and laughing at how they are pitching story plans for creativity sake. Dan planned unique stories as homages and as character and story driven choices. Most of the goofy fun episodes also revealed something about these characters. These two writers didn't get that. Lets do Inspector Space Time or Pierce's mansion because it is cool, not because it reveals something about these characters. That is why they failed and season 4 sucks.
They didn't fail, season 4 is great, it says a lot about the characters, Conventions of Space and Time is one of the strongest episodes in the show, season 4 paintball was both a cool episode and great for the characters, Pierce's Mansion is another one of the best in the show, season 4 didn't actually suck, you just think it did because Dan Harmon is a creative control freak and any community that praises Harmon gets sucked into the personality cult. He is admittedly a creative genius, and his approach to storytelling is unique, but to say that season 4 sucks because Dan wasn't there is both wrong and indicative of the hero worship of Harmon this community is prone to
Because people have to hat on everything... there has to be always a bad side to something good, apparently the bad side to community is something that doesn't have shit to do with community... they're different shows, they don't talk about the same stuff... i don't get it either... i also watch them both...
