same however, tbh i feel like the issue is not exactly the distractions bc as bro mentioned in the video that change is internal and whatnot so therefore the issue never really lie on the distractions also something should not have the upper hand so simply put distractions whatever it may be have the power that you allow it to have on you yk. So its not abt getting rid of it and then you'll be more studious and see results. I feel like its 2 different aspects you're dealing with there in terms of productivity and academics. Distractions can affect your productivity and focus which decreases efficiency and productivity right. However, the issue lies within academics so maybe the techniques and the stuff you're doing now aren't working so you need to start from their and identify everything you do and figure out if it gives you results or not. for ex. try study techniques like teaching the material you are learning in a way a 5 year old can understand and if you have 12 chpts or how much ever content you have to learn do not skim through it bc you don't have time give yourself enough time to study for an exam. Study efficiently in terms of no matter how much time it takes you to fully understand a topic let it take that time and when you know you're good with the content like 100% then move on to the other one and constantly practice and test yourself so the material don't leave the brain. Okay now idk if this is making any sense but if it does i wish you all the best! You'd do great as you're working hard. Also maybe try learning bc you actually am interested and want to learn not bc it is something that you just have to do (even though it is something that you have to do) but let it be something that you have to do that you enjoying doing yk!

Distractions affect one's productivity and getting rid of them just gives you more time to do something that's worth it yk and then when you get the time to study you have to use effcient study techniques that could now enhance the results you wanted! i think.

i had test , i stayed up all night studying practicing i poured my heart into it, still somehow i didn't do great>good in test, i felt bad , i cried when i got home , i slept, now im sitting again to study for tomorrow exam .. just need to keep going , only person who stop us is us.
i think we almost have the same problem the solution is simple revise your lessons constantly and dont accumulate things on you because it is tiring and can burn you out so if it works once it wont next time have a good one bud
If you’re studying for your test/exam, try to sleep on time. Don’t stay up late studying… just pick a topic and study it as best as you can… you won’t understand the whole subject/course in one night. Try your best to understand don’t try to stress too much… tomorrow, hopefully a buddy will help you out with what you don’t know. I hope this helps 🙌🏼.
yesterday I was doing nothing productive and today I overslept, I was sleeping for 13 hours. And all of these bring me so much anxiety, because.. like, how you said - it is laughable. When you got so much ideas, plans, goals and you REALLY want to achieve all of them and still do NOTHING. this is just so unlogical.. And I was so scared to think about mysels as a lazy one so "your issue is not laziness, your issue is you are not listening to yourself" made me a bit calmer about it. I wish it is true about me and I hope the technique you are talking about in this video will help me

This has given me a sense that my time is meaningful, free from the emptiness of feeling as though life is being wasted. This sense of personal fulfillment has even inspired me to face work with greater enthusiasm, providing me with the motivation to live well and continuously improve. I'm not lazy as I used to, thanks to the pain I had to endure to change my lifestyle, but now I think most of the low energy I experience is just a sign for me to rest. Crecí escuchando comentarios feos sobre mi cuerpo y personalidad, al punto de comenzar a creeerme todo eso y deje de enfocarme en mi misma a los 6 años para enfocarme en como cambiar para satisfacer a los demás (lo cual es muy loco de pensar, que una niña de 6 años piense en eso en vez de disfrutar su infancia). Hoy tengo 17 años, a unos meses de los 18 y la verdad me siento totalmente perdida en general. No me encuentro a mi misma y me arrepiento completamente de haber permitido que esos comentarios me afecten tanto al punto de no saber quién soy yo realmente. Esa es la razón por la que llegué a un punto de inflexión donde ya no puedo seguir esperando a encontrar lo que fui en algún momento, tengo que avanzar y dejar ir lo que ya no esta bajo mi control. I don’t usually watch mindset or self development videos from young creators (like under 35/40) because the info is stuff we can all find for ourselves on the internet and it’s usually douchey bros parroting silly fluff and chasing algorithm trends. “Older” creators tend to bring the additional ingredient of wisdom, which usually only comes from life experience so I gravitate more to those videos. HOWEVER, the algorithm decided to bring you into my sphere, and unless you’re an actor or a charlatan (lolololol) you seem to be someone who just gets it, and I envy you for finding your perspective and this level of self awareness so early in life! (it took me many adult YEARS to become this awesome 😎). But truly, I enjoyed your video and I’m glad I stayed and watched. 😊

This is so spot on! We often let distractions and external pressures keep us from taking real action. I’ve experienced that push-pull-wanting to achieve something big but feeling stuck in the daily grind. I’ve found that really taking the time to reflect on who I want to be (as suggested in the Sense of Humor Improvement Program by Habit10x) helps me re-align with my true goals. Once you do the internal work, everything else falls into place. Keep pushing forward; your progress will speak for itself!

Crecí escuchando comentarios feos sobre mi cuerpo y personalidad, al punto de comenzar a creeerme todo eso y deje de enfocarme en mi misma a los 6 años para enfocarme en como cambiar para satisfacer a los demás (lo cual es muy loco de pensar, que una niña de 6 años piense en eso en vez de disfrutar su infancia).
Hoy tengo 17 años, a unos meses de los 18 y la verdad me siento totalmente perdida en general. No me encuentro a mi misma y me arrepiento completamente de haber permitido que esos comentarios me afecten tanto al punto de no saber quién soy yo realmente. Esa es la razón por la que llegué a un punto de inflexión donde ya no puedo seguir esperando a encontrar lo que fui en algún momento, tengo que avanzar y dejar ir lo que ya no esta bajo mi control. Tengo la oportunidad de crear una versión de mi misma que me guste y con la que me sienta cómoda, más allá de los comentarios de la gente y eso es lo que voy a intentar hacer.
No voy a mentir, esto es algo que muchas veces intenté pero me quede en el inicio, en pensar con esa vida ideal o quedarme con la ambición sin dar otro paso más. Gracias al creador del vídeo, me dí cuenta de un patrón que estuve repitiendo y es que cuando me doy tiempo para "mi misma" o para "aislarme", en realidad solo huyo de mis problemas y de las personas para estar acostada con el celular. No trabajo en mi misma, no me escucho. Prefiero distraerme ya que es más divertido, antes que sentarme a "hablar" conmigo misma, pensar y reflexionar seriamente quién soy en este momento, que pienso de mi, como son mis valores, porque soy o no soy de tal forma, quién quiero ser y que puedo hacer para ser esa persona.
Evito pensar, evito pasar realmente tiempo conmigo misma (sin distracciones de ningún tipo) y ese es el patrón y mayor problema.
Asi que gracias Tyson, no te conozco pero me ayudaste a abrir un poco los ojos.

I don’t usually watch mindset or self development videos from young creators (like under 35/40) because the info is stuff we can all find for ourselves on the internet and it’s usually douchey bros parroting silly fluff and chasing algorithm trends. “Older” creators tend to bring the additional ingredient of wisdom, which usually only comes from life experience so I gravitate more to those videos. HOWEVER, the algorithm decided to bring you into my sphere, and unless you’re an actor or a charlatan (lolololol) you seem to be someone who just gets it, and I envy you for finding your perspective and this level of self awareness so early in life! (it took me many adult YEARS to become this awesome 😎). But truly, I enjoyed your video and I’m glad I stayed and watched. 😊

This is so spot on! We often let distractions and external pressures keep us from taking real action. I’ve experienced that push-pull-wanting to achieve something big but feeling stuck in the daily grind. I have an issue… im very ambitious but I dont have a goal… being gone through sooo much domestic violence and childhood trauma… now being able to earn through a normal 9 to 5 job.. with a loving husband im satisfied,,.. i really dont know what to do with the rest of my life….. im just in a point where I feel kinda saturation point…. Not being a hater but how is your remedy any different from procrastination? like I've projected 100s of times of how I want to live my life while thinking about it to myself. Rather than not listening to myself I find myself relating to the fear of failure issue. Will this method allow me to get out of this endless cycle of self doubt and guilt and constant grief
