    Come on.. In these times?
As a farmer you improvise. It's tough but think. There are small machines that are use for canning or plastic. You can research and team up with KNust or some graduates who studied food science. Maybe a small scale factory to preserve them. Cut the pineapples and freeze them for those who make ice cream or fruit juices. If you want to wait for government all the time it's gonna be a problem.

It is not easy as you saying it . Do you know the interest rate at the moment? I have you ever ask the price of fruit canner and it importation duty. A small pressure will cost a farmer abt $300 and 100 dollar importation duty. It is hard getting a loan Ghana without a collateral . How many of these poor farmers has properties to use as collateral ? Interest rate alone will kill their businesses. It easier said than done.

@@allvidz1619 but there must be a solution. Interest rates can't be the problem every time. I think we must admit that doing farming is not difficult for Ghanaians, doing the business of farming is beyond many people's skills.

@@AkubaCAB very true. because in Ghana we’ve the lands and human labor but the knowledge to ensure we maximize our profits at the end of the production is missing. This is a big problem, but I also believe in the face of any problem there’s also a possibility of solution.
