With all-season tires, comfortable seats and other comfort options, maybe some aftermarket sound treatment, this is almost the perfect everyday 911. If it were a convertible, it would literally be perfect for everyday use.
I was able to see this and the 992 GT3 RS the same day (even before the owner got it), and he had it wrapped in a Rothmans style wrap and rally-like wheels. Even though it’s not my particular taste in a 911, I absolutely love that it exists. I’ve seen a few options/mods with roof racks (as mentioned in the video) and so much more. Such a cool car.
@@samwell_6977 I never knew that was an option. That’s pretty cool, despite it being rather expensive. I still have pictures of it and you could probably get a more “authentic” and detailed wrap for less, but I’m sure money isn’t a thing at that point.
If you live in a city like me, with constant road construction all summer, potholes all over in the spring and fall, and snow in the winter, it is the perfect Porsche for daily driving (other than an SUV). In fact it's the only Porsche 911 that I'd be comfortable driving here every day. It's too bad they limited production. The people that got allocations are already asking (almost) twice the list price.
god that is beautiful. personally I find newer sports cars too … comfortable? cushy is more accurate. I like buttons on the dash and design, simplicity under the hood, manual transmission is a must. (Generally anything released 2015 or older)
I've lived in Germany and drove a 9-11. I live now in Canada. With winters/pot holes etc. ... the Dakar 911 would be PERFECT! /And I mean 'every day' driving!
Porsche: You can’t take this off-road Miles: oh yeah! That will be the theme for the video. The off-road Porsche, Porsche won’t let me take off-road. 😒
It's the Galaxy S8 Active of cars

This might be the perfect Georgia back roads toy... or maybe a dope cannonball run! Now, just need to win the lottery 😂

Critics and petrolheads love the 911 Dakar, how is it underrated? 😅
It looks really good for “off road purposes”
Just wish it was a more look alike 959
