I am currently reading the dune saga, I cannot describe how "sands of arrakis" and this last music reflect the atmosphere in which I immerse myself at, each reading.
If anyone ever again doubts the fact that music can tell amazing stories on its own, this is the link I am going to smack in their faces. I just went on an hour long, beautiful journey of epic proportions! Well done good Sir, well done!
This piece is intense, not just meditative but evocative. There is a deep and sheer beauty in it that resounds in the listener's soul. This one grabbed me right away, and wouldn't let go. Powerful and mesmerizing, this an EPIC ACHIEVEMENT!!!
Is this your best one yet? Could be! "Desert power" is an absolutely chilling track, gives me goosebumps. You're just getting better and better at your craft and unique art.
I press play, and I am immediately transported. This is beyond beautiful. The soundscape you created evokes a deep, ancient lore. To be able to do that with atmospheric style alone is absolutely masterful. I continue to be impressed by your work. Nothing short of stunning...
Such a stunning and beautiful atmospheric journey. I absolutely adored this. Speaks to my heart and taps into a part of me I can't describe. From beginning to end, it was entirely captivating and I especially loved the gentle winds at the end. What a brilliant idea and the perfect way to bring it all to a close. Thank you for creating this. It's a masterpiece.
I made listening to your tunes an habit of mine when working, now as soon as I got my headset on I enter in a sort of amazing focus (2 hours pass like thrity minutes), maybe your too humble to see how far your work put you but, did you ever ask yourself if you wanted to work for a cinema compagny or anything who would require these sort of song ? Cause man your effort would be so appreciated !!! amazing work litteraly, simply fantastic
I can't tell you how inspiring these Dune sets have been. As an aspiring sound designer with an interest in this particular sound genre, this stuff gives me shivers and hope. Thank you and Syberlilly for your lovely art.
When reading the dune series, I have a spliff in hand, tea laced with spice (cinnamon) and this playing in the background. Absolute transportation to Rakis
Another dune masterpiece. Perfect in every way. I just did a short dune fan ambient on my own page but your compositions have such depth and mystery, I'm jealous. I'd love to get some of the samples and patches you use
What is it, my third time listening to this through while working alone early morning? Really transports me away from my mundane office - I love it! And the chills I get from the gravity and intensity of the music swelling cannot be compared! Can't wait to get listening to more of your work ❤
Im always trying to hunt out great longform ambient to meditate to. Your Dune inspired works are just perfect for that, and masterful balances of longform and variation. Cracking work, keep it up!
I LOVE it!! The changing intensities helps me gauge my progress through my work - once it starts getting quiet, I know there's about 10 minutes to go before it's been an hour. Wonderful ambience, thank you SO much!
Hey, David, I just wanted to comment here on this video (I do apologise for the lack of punctuality) because I saw DUNE last week as it hit the cinema in the U.S., and, while I knew the overall essence of the DUNE universe and its themes, I had not immersed myself in it prior to the new film. I cannot BELIEVE the accuracy of all of these DUNE ambiences you have been producing. These take me back to the sheer wonder and nascence of a universe about which I knew so little, engaging so tangibly with the sensory artifacts of the movie. I am even more thankful, now, that you allowed me to play a role in the further cultivation of such an intricate and multifaceted body of work. Hans Zimmer's score is wonderful, of cours, but you have masterfully embodied the themes of mystery, sparsity, the rivulets of tenacity carved by such hardened selfishness in which the deluges of uncertainty flow. So, so freakin' cool.....thank you 💜.
Its like reading poetry. Your comments are truly well written. I am myself grateful for your vocal performance and that you sparked the Dune idea to life. Sands of arrakis is somewhat semi-viral and that is really cool and its partly because of you :) Thanks for you compliments. Please mail me if you have any new cool ideas 💡 :)
I see 356 likes at this moment and wonder where the "k" for 356,000 went ... love it, SpaceWave you deserve way way more appreciation for your work, always great.
This is amazing. It is so haunting and ancient, and yet it is cyberpunk-ish. Alien yet familiar. This is as good as anything they have created for Dune. you are really talented. Thank you for sharing for art. I am listening to this while I write my screenplay. You have anew subscriber.
I like to type at work to this kinda stuff it's relaxing....haha, and no no shining stuff going on, I'm not typing all work and no play make me crazy or anything, no matter how true it's become...haha, well anyways nice chatting bye.
Wonderful soundscape you created here my friend very dramatic and intense vibe it really feels like a movie score you earned a huge like from Synthworx today cheers mate
"Think of it like a soundtrack for reading the Dune books. It will definitely be a great story enhancer, for sure! " - Quote from comment section. I can absolutely confirm this to be true ! Awesome piece of ambience that enhances much more than reading the epic Dune saga. While i was painting my desert-themed miniatures this was even more fitting and inspiring to play in the background ( volume: too high ^_^ ) than i'd hoped for ... thanks for all the awesome iterations SpaceWave - Cosmic Relaxation !! very much appreciated !
Holy moly is what the first thing I can say, this is truly epic! If you ever consider doing a Japan/asian one I really don't know how much you wpuødtnail that, seeing you're able to do a dune one, which is (in my opinion) VERY hard to do. Making the music sound both hot and dry. Hats off again, David!
I don’t know if you have heard the official soundtrack yet by Hans Zimmer….but I have to say whole-heartily that you’re versions fit the movie BETTER! Like honestly you should be doing the music for these films!
No Wonder this Production has 133K views!! A memorable Soundscape of a World made real by Sound evoking landscapes from a planet from another Galaxy very very far away but brought into our conscience by every echo and thundering note of the synths☆☆☆☆☆
Quite frankly, with the risk of sounding hyperbolic, your music fits the film better than Zimmer's score. While his is commendable, I can't help but feel yours truly embodies the essence of Dune. It's entrancing, hypnotic, and even taken away from it's origins on the sandy mounds of Arrakis, it puts me in a state of mind where I'm reminded of the path I'm meant to walk and the duty I owe it to myself and to life to walk it fully to the end, undistracted by the flimsy and beautiful sirens that sing our attention away to distant shores, never to return. Thank you. PS: I hope to collaborate with you in the future, I would love to have you as a composer for my future films.
Love this playlist, Dune universe is one of my favourites, this is perfect for my work. Would love to hear your interpretations for the Bene Gesserit home world :)
No need to time stamp. ...When it begins... zero zero. I have a hard time believing it. It sounds just like that (the sound when switching on the ps1), to the frequency. But hey, I stand corrected. Ideas can take on a life of their own, so....strange coïncidence.

"On Caladan, we ruled with sea and air power,” the Duke said. “Here, we must scrabble for desert power. This is your inheritance, Paul.”

Sounds more like Blade Runner. This is a good thing! You nailed the sounds.

This is very relaxing. Thank you for sharing.
This paired with the starwars book I'm reading is potentially the best combination of things I've experienced in a long long time
This would be great to play while reading Tatooine Ghost again

The beginning of this definitely sounds like Blade Runner music. And I'm not complaining!!
Powerful. Stunning. Mysterious. Universal. Phenomenal. Wow! I loved your new work, congratulations David!

I know you usually don't use percussive elements, but a hang drum is such an underused element in ambient music. I bet it'd sound awesome.
Need to be a soundtrack for Homeworld 3 for sure, need to get in contact with Paul Ruskay and BBI to discuss a collaboration.
love the playstation 1 intro sample
