Why on earth would these soldiers want to meet one direction 😂 Im off to headley court in a few months to start my rehab after a major trauma injury, and I expect meeting one direction would be an even bigger trauma than that.
Simply because the X Factor acts collected a lot of money for them with their charity single which went Number 1 the moment it was released. Plus there were some rather nice-looking female finalists too in the right age such as Rebecca so I don't think it was so bad for the soldiers either... But it was good hype for both sides - the soldiers got media attention (and probably some serious help through that too) and the acts became more human in the eyes of the public. On other note, I hope everything went well for you there and you are perfectly healthy by now.
