I just discovered you yesterday. I thought I was OCD, but you take the cake! You're my new hero. Love your videos and the terrific and thorough reviews.
Yay, one of my peeps! LOL! Thank you so much. I'm glad I can provide some value. I love sharing planner stuff, but non of my friends will listen to me. 🤓
I would have also loved to try this planner, it’s awesome that you’re passing it along after you discovered it doesn’t work for you. I’m excited to see your upcoming Hobonichi content
I'm so bummed that the Take a Note didn't work for you (just because I love it so much)! But your logic is sound and hopefully you have found a better option 😊
Lauren Phelps Designs has some great vinyl planner covers. It's a bit loose on my Wonderland222 A5 to start (before it starts bulking up) so I wonder if it might fit the Hobo full year. If so, I would love to see a video on it!
Shame it didn't work for you, I moved to a B6 wonderland222 planner instead of my cousin this year, seems to be working so far, but it's so hard to find planner peace! 😂
Love your process in determining what works and what doesn’t. I’m struggling with some of my 2021 planners as well, seems to be an ongoing thing from year to year LOL. That’s OK though, it’s part of the fun of trying out new planners!
I think it's part of the fun too! Except when I start over thinking. My husband is so patient when I start going over all my options with him, lol. And so many times the perfect system for one year is useless the next :-) TFW!
I wanted to try this planner but i really don’t like the week on 4 pages. For the exact reasons you mentioned and I have to create project schedules so the thought of having to flip through twice as many pages is bleh.
What are your thoughts about using Dutch doors for the weekly section? I get overwhelmed seeing the whole week but it also makes more sense to see it that way! I figured Dutch doors might’ve been a good work around
I’m using the Take A Note planner for 2022 for my work planner and I absolutely love it. It makes me happy the moment I open it up. I actually have a Q1 flip-thru posting on my channel this week. I also like the Kinbor A5 which is a the monthly and weeklies only - in whiter paper than the hobo (yay) and cleaner - less filler more functional space. It’s a great planner imho. The paper isn’t TRP but it’s nice and holds up to lots of pens and even watercolor. For covers for your hobo - Lauren Phelps Design and CatspressoCo both have them and they fit beautifully - I have some unboxings of both on my channel. And then also the Midori A5 clear cover fits nicely too.
I’m so proud of you for being able to know something doesn’t work and not forcing it! That takes a lot of discipline!!
Thank you!

I'm currently using this planner right now! It's interesting to hear from your perspective on what's not working for you. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
I am so glad you updated this, I was going to buy one of these. Glad you followed up.

Thank you! I wish I had more to give away! TFW

They do fit the Hobonichi beautifully! So do CatspressoCos.
Thank goodness for your honest follow video. I was about to scour the internet for a take a note. I find myself always going back to the hobonichi
Glad it was helpful!

Darn. Somebody beat me to it. 😔 That’s so thoughtful of you to share. I would have loved to try this planner.
Thanks for watching and commenting, and I hope you get a chance to try one out!
I love your monitor stand! Where did you get that?!
I got it from IKEA!

Have you tried folding the page of the tuesday wednesday page to see the next days?
That is brilliant!
This is what I do in my Take a Note, which is my work planner. It’s working really well.
I was thinking the same.
I have the schedules of my husband and children in my calendar too. Makes planning for family time so much easier.
So true!

I hope you find what works for you!
I would like to have it
I’d love to try the planner!
