In an audio magazine I read some 25 or so years ago, a woofer and a tweeter pair will always be better than a single driver full range speaker. I think the article was written in response to a new dual concentric speaker where the tweeter is in the middle of the woofer cone.
this isn't a fair comparison, the GX100 is around 10 times more expensive than the OM-MF519 (a.k.a. CHN-50, which is only $54 a pair of drivers on Madisound, plus the DIY cabinet)
