Hi Roger, I suffer from debilitating depression and I'm only 25. I use to watch your videos all the time. I watched so many. And recent have not been well. I have clicked back on to your channel and I can't tell you enough how good it is to watch your videos again. I find them amazingly relaxing. Thank you Roger. Thank you.
I remember how satisfying it was to clean off my hoover junior 1224 when it first came, it was filthy. we are currently trying to get the paint off of it. 😅
An especially delightful video. I actually laughed when I saw the box. I could say I can't imagine it being shipped like that or dirty, but I've come to realize if not entirely accept that a great many people do their best and what I'd find absolutely appalling others think ok. And save us from them! Hahaha. Enormously enjoyed seeing it clean up it looks surprisingly lovely. Christmas cheer! 🎄🎄🎄🎄
Hi Roger, I would like to know if you will be having a look at the Zero G vacuum? PS. What are your thoughts on having my husband do some videos with me?
What type of bag do you think is good to use in a Electrolux ultraone green. The ordinary s-bag or the allergy plus s201 or s210?? Ohhh, I was the first one to ask something :-) Have a holly christmas.
Hello Roger! For everyday vacuuming do you use a combination of machine types (upright, cylinder, cordless etc.) or do you generally use just one more than the other? Many thanks and have a great Christmas 🎄
Merry Christmas, Roger! This has been a trying year for all of us around the world. I work as a paramedic in the NYC-metro area and as you may imagine we have have been working very long hours, responding to emergency calls, and treating patients. I wanted to let you know that watching your videos (both on this channel and on Roger's Bits and Doings) helped brighten my days when the going got tough; thank you so much for producing marvelous videos that brighten my day! My vacuum-related question is: Which vacuum cleaner would you most like to try using which isn't available in your country? In my case I'd really like to try any of the Vorwerk cleaners, but since I live in America they aren't currently available for export. Is there any particular brand or model that you'd be curious to see if it ever came to the UK? Merry Christmas Roger!
Love these Electrolux uprights, shame it does not have the neon light in the switch. I thought it sounded good on power down, maybe after a good clean-up, the motor will be fine. A couple of questions fo your Q&A video. What's the most powerful domestic (not commercial) vacuum/upright by wattage ever made? Also, what is the most powerful domestic (not commercial) vacuum you have by suction power in your collection? Perhaps have a top 5 shoot out or "suck off" using your suction gauge. Thanks for another great video, Mike.
Hi Roger! How would you keep your bagged vacuum from emitting pet order? Meaning before a bag needs to be changed it starts smelling like dirty dog and blows the air through the whole house. One vacuum I own, the Miele Maverick upright has a charcoal filter that helps a lot but doesn’t stop it entirely. Thank you!
Hey roger not vacuum related but definitely relevant. Just curious how long you have been restoring/collecting vacuums and how did you get started doing it??
Hi Roger. What are your thoughts on the evolution of Shark brand vacuums? I remember when the brand arrived here in Canada that they were not very good, however years later they are extremely good. Seasons greetings! Robert C.
Hey, Roger. Have you ever tried any of the cyclonic Philips vacuums? Do you think that the single-cycloned vacuum filters are pretty awful? Sorry for text, Russian, night and at the smartphone
Hi RoDDger! I have an apapartent with 85% hardfloors and two dogs. What is your thougts on a bagged canister type vacuum. I would like the best there is, filtration, sucktion and overall performance. No budget. Love your videos, I think I’m addicted both to you and the videos😁 Best regards, Philip
Hello Rodger my question is I see that you import a lot of Hoover vacuum cleaners from the United States, I live in the US as well, I was wondering is there any vacuum cleaners that England doesn't have that the US have that you found that you like better?
Hi, when you do a suction test I think a circle of blue tac would make a really good seal on hose ends that don't lend themselves to fitting the pressure dewberry especially pip fitting the blue tac should be easy to squidg in holes and easily removed.
Hey Roger, I follow you for years and I like you and your Videos. Shark is starting to be comment here in Germany. I would like to know if the edge cleaning is good on the latest cordless. I have 95% hardfloor (stone) and around my kitchen the V8 absolute I use is not that great there as e.g. my Miele S8 with the Parkett Twister head. Many Thanks and thank you very much for your videos! Marc
What was the first vacuum cleaner you used in your bedroom when you where younger?, I use to have my own in my bedroom when I was young sweet & innocent mine was a goblin Rio I bout for £40 from Argos saved all my pocket money for it 😇
Will you ever be likely to add to your collection and demonstrate the red Electrolux Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner ? - I have fond memories of that when I was a child. It is the same or similar model Electrolux ZA65.
Hello Roger i always watch your videos right to the end ,I Have just bought Shark`s Floor & Handheld Steam Cleaner S6005UK what`s you thoughts on these i am really enjoying it anyway i hope you and all your family have a peaceful Christmas from me and Brett. Thank you for all your great videos throughout the year
Nice video as always, Roger, my pet peeve is also receiving dirty vacuums. Have you ever thought of putting a central vacuum in your home? How do they fit with the European regulations? I guess in some countries they are known as ducted vacuums or built-ins. I know they are fairly common for us in North America. I have a central canister and 35 foot hose and use it like a glorified canister.
Hello Roger. Merry Christmas to you, Mark and the dogs! You’ve often mentioned that an upright is a better choice than a canister for predominantly carpeted homes. I always thought that a quality canister with a power head (like say my Miele S5 with an SEB 236 head) would perform as well as a U1 on carpet but be more convenient to use. Is my assumption wrong?
Hi Roger, With your vast knowledge of floor care machines. Have you ever approached a vacuum manufacturer with a design or better way of doing things and have they taken your views onboard? Have you every wished to be the next Dyson inventor? Kind regards Thomas Best wishes for next year.
What is your favorite Dirt Devil product? I know they are very cheap cleaners, but they have some sort of charm to them in my eyes. You have a great channel, have been watching for a while. Me and my mom love to see your Instagram posts! Thanks, Rett
ibaisaic would you recommend the bissell pet allergen lift off or the bissell slim corded eraser or a dirt devil 4 in 1 stick vacuum for vacuuming a high pile carpet

Where do you see the future of vacuums heading? Do you see bagged cleaners making a come back and a return to more powerful corded cleaners?

I’m glad we have Roger to show us the many vacuums that companies have given us over the years.
The result is cleaner than some of the newer vacuums (particularly Dyson)
