I am finding that the way you explain your sewing builds up my confidence in projects I have been too afraid to even consider because fear that I am going to make it wrong or something. Love your channel!
I found you through the crazy quilt video, and seeing your name I was like "Please have videos about hobbit outfits, please have videos about hobbit outfits," and SUCCESS!! I'm dying to make a hobbit outfit for renn faires since I am also quite the halfling.
Did you have any problems with it cutting in at the front of the armpits? When I've taken a back lacing pattern meant to have a gap in the back and stitched the back up so it would be front-lacing, that was the issue I ran into as the whole thing rotated a bit towards the back. I'm still not at the "happy enough with a mockup to try it" stage with corsets and stays after the failure of my half-corset sports bra thing... being columnar in shape, short-waisted and having ribs that highly object to being compressed, it's a journey of discovery that I am doing only occasionally, when my "you must mend a thing and dig something out of the UFO pile and have another go before scissors touch fabric on a new project" rule comes into effect. I didn't know chickens could hop like that, very cute. And in the midst of "ohhh now I have kitchen envy" was a moment of, Wait, are you at IKEA??" :) Thanks for the giggle! Love the verasatility of that, but I'm going to start with a reversible vest, cause I at least know how to make that fit me now. Even if pockets will be a disaster.
Ideally yes, I use that technique for long straight seams with medium weight fabric - if it’s lightweight fabric or finicky seams I still do the ‘pick out a few stitches at a time’ method.
“Hello seam ripper my old friend” 😂😂❤️❤️ 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
Very cute and very nicely done! Good to be an adult Hobbit!! 🧡💙
I appreciate that you showed you could still bend and squat down in the corset 👍
They came out really well 😻😻 I love the business vs. floral combination.
Thank you!
What a stunning corset! There's something so relaxing about hand sewing, isn't there? 😊
There really is!
You look so beautiful in these outfits! 100% on style!
Thank you so much!!😊
Loved the suiting, and the way the green ribbon looked with it. Very original, which is what I always love about this channel.
Congrats on reaching full grown hobbit status! Super cute and informative/entertaining
LOL at the photoshoot inside of IKEA, that's epic! ^_^ Also that one chicken hopping up for its treats, I died from the cuteness.
That floral fabric is so ADORABLE!
As soon as I saw it on the bolt I knew I had to have it and make something hobbity!
Very cute! Congratulations on becoming an adult 🎉.
It turned out really well.

It looks beautiful!

Nice! I've made a reversible pair of stays before, too, because who doesn't love the versatility? 😊
Versatility is awesome!

Your videos are perfection ngl
Aww, thank you! 😊
I know this is a sewing video, but you have such excellent chickens.

wait is that how you're meant to use a seam ripper? I've been doing it wrong my whole life! that looks so much more effective
