Novelty dude I use mine for everything really from carving small horses to skinning deer to food preparation it's a one stop mini tracker do it all knife tough as hell to
I own about 15 different neck knives in my favorites are as follows.... Condor kickback.. made out of carbon steel and traction coating.. comes with a kydex sheath much lighter than a tops in less money than esse #2 tops mini harpoon . Leather sheath ..#3 crkt minimalist with the bowie-type blade.. #4 sog instinct & mini instinct . Both without a handle insert I did a cord wrap with#90 Paracord.. #5 cold steel "ready edge " ... Now some honorable mentions that I wear occasionally..TOPS mini ALERT and drop point alert & KEY knife cold steel "MINI TAC " (Tanto blade) ..CRKT " "STIFF KISS " ( long discontinued) tanto and drop point...BTW I do not wear a neck knife unless it has a breakaway on the Paracord or a bead necklace that can break away.. I do not want to be choked
Steel on most TOPS Knives is gonna be 1095 carbon with a traction coating. There are several exceptions that are in stainless and 2 models in different carbon steels 1075, and 5160
I'm a remodeling contractor and the r2 has become my edc. Split Osage, cut down boxes, clean up plywood cuts, still slices through leather better than my new spyderco mule
R2 is my favourite all around small user knife. After trying the r2 in different circumstances and comparing it to the small taiga hunter i have from Fällkniven, i believe the r2 would also benefit from a full convex.
Benchmade should make a single-edged version.. daggers in double aged knives are illegal and more places than they are allowed... All they would have to do is just make a single-edged version
Beautil video Johny,a beautiful collection. I am very surprised that you don't have any Italian knives. There are companies in Italy that produce some of the best knives in the world: Fox, Lionstell, Extrema Ratio ...Good Life and W Italia!
Love me some neck knives! In fact, that is the only way I carry knives now. Everything else is either in or on my pack. The one thing 'bout proper purpose-made neck knives is that I find most of the handles are too short for my sausage fingered hand.... 😕😬 Thanks for the cool video!
Good variety here. Haven't gotten into neck knives, but would like to someday. Drawing a tip-up carry would be easier, but I'd always wonder if it might fall out after bouncing around - you know, when I'm riding a bucking bronco, being chased by a bear, fighting forest ninjas, etc. I always kind of had a thing for the CRKT Minimalist series. By the way, that Outdoor Edge resembles Little Jerry.
Was this a repost? I feel like Ive seen this exact group from you a while ago. Am I mistaken on that? cuz none of these are recent releases. Not giving you a hard time: just encouraging you to buy some sweet new neck knives to show us.
Whenever I see these huge serrations on the spine of a knife it reminds me of those stupid looking Rambo knives. The serrations don't wont cut anything , just for looking cool. It that point I know its for kids and I stop reading.
I agree...my only exception might be the Air Force survival knife. Presumably to saw your way out of an airplane cockpit, but even that seems kind of doubtful.

Old Guard!
Ur awesome man cool video
Sweet blades here. I’ve never gotten into neck carry. I tend to carry small fixed blades in my pocket sometimes instead of a folder.

All of the knives that I have made are 100% Italian! Also I do own a Lionsteel SR1. Grazie!

`LJ has a better demeanor.

Not a sponsored channel. I owe these companies nothing.

If it was called a "notch maker" we wouldn't be talking. Unfortunately someone in the "Mandela Effect" called it a saw.
