I have been so impressed with Gan's MonsterGo products. Their trainer cubes have really helped get my 5 year old (and wife) in to cubing. Can't wait for this guy to show up in the mail!

I just got this cube today and then I realized that this video was uploaded 2 days ago, what a coincidence.
After using a Warrior S for years, this felt like a big step up. I don't know how it's gonna feel like in the long run, but I've really enjoyed how it feels so far!
I liked the old one but glad to hear that the new one is lighter. And a cubing club sounds great, I hope it works out.
I was here for the premiere. (And crashed like 5-10 times before I figured out that rotating on iOS 16 currently crashes the YT app). That’s awesome. I’ll go ahead and order one to check out. :D. It’s a great video. And my first premiere viewing of a video.
just got this and it’s amazing, i just started getting into cubing after 4 years and really good and fast, big improvement from first cube. it is kinda unstable but it’s great for the price
Excellent review. I ended up buying one and for the money ($15 cad) it is an excellent value. I love it, with cubes getting more complex, I guess sometimes less is more and this cube feels so good to me. I will add some lube and change the tension. Thank-you Sir for your review, your the best.
The monster go is quite good, it is my backup main and the cube I bring with me whenever I go somewhere

i got this cube its so good. my last main was a yuxin little magic ,, and this was like the biggest upgrade . yuxin was good but i had it for like 4 months , along with an rs3m and they were getting slow.
I would get it, but I like more stable and slow cubes like the Valk’s.

I had a huge problem with the original Monster Go, mostly the almost original Rubiks brand turning, because of having to line it up so much more accurately to get a smooth turn .... yes it turned well, but the need to align it was distracting, now i'm only a 50 sec avg cuber, but i have been trying lots of cubes in the last 8 months (since i decided to try speedcubing) And have gathered quite the collection, (about 30 cubes) from the MoYu RS3M to GAN 12 M, and most prices in between, there's even QIYI sails in there ..... so when i saw most youtube Cubers praising the original...all be it two year old M-GO .... i was surprised when my one seemed to be a dud ..... but now it seems that GO cubes have actually listened and upgraded accordingly ..... even dropping the price by a dollar ..... i would like to see a side by side piece comparison with the original and the EDU, just to see how they improved it, and If its more suitable to adding magnets. Because the original was constructed to make that almost impossible without grinders and a workshop ..... Great stuff as usual ...

i play violin aswell. It is very fun, I prefer my clarinet though, the sound is nicer though in my opinion. I have been playing for 3 years.
It’s a pity they changed the logo. The big monster face was much better. But the screws and lighter springs are good.
Currently main the Rs3m super maglev version, it's my first magnetic cube.
Is it good?

Gan's cheapest magnetic 3x3. If I would be forced to, I'd take this over the 11 Air.

Anyway to get a monster go with the old logo? I remember the old monster go m had just the monster face then I couldn’t find that one anymore after a move then I got another 1 a couple of months ago and it looks just like the one in the thumbnail. The monster face + monster go on it.

Neither of those. There are infinite tension possibilities.

Does anybody know for sure if this is different to the Monster Go v2 M? I've seen rumours it's just a reboxed version of that, but nothing definitive.

I don't believe so but I have not checked.
I'm not sure what's up with mine but it catches unless I go slow not sure if the tensions are wrong or what I've tightened and everything... any ideas?
Definitely go tighter. I'm assuming it's flexing a lot while you are turning. Maybe add some lube to slow it down too so you can be a bit more accurate.

This cube was designed to be the "RS3M killer". Can it beat out the RS3M 2020?
Different feeling puzzles. I don't feel there is a specific "beating" another. IMO cubers who say "this cube is best" or "this cube beats another" is Usually just doing it to be extreme and doesn't actually help.
@@SpeedCubeReview Yeah that's true. For example, if you turn more accurately, the X-Man Tornado V2 could be the best cube for you, but if you turn inaccurately (like me) you might want something like the WRM 2021.

I've had this cube for a couple days. It's fast and all but the corner cutting is bad. I regret buying it and not another good budget cube instead.
Corner cutting is just as good as all other Gan cubes. I'm guessing you need to tighten it more as its flexibility and fast turning. Is causing more inaccuracies.
@@SpeedCubeReview I don't know. I compared it with a Qiyi ms and a rs3m 2021 and it's noticeably worse. Anyway I'll try to tighten it even more to see if it feels better.
I can get the exact same corner cutting compared to those puzzles and even the gan 12. the piece shape mostly dictates corner cutting, however also remember that corner cutting reallly doesn't matter much in solves and many cubers purposely make corner cutting worse as it allows for less lockups during solving.

It's smaller than the Gan14 but about the same if not larger than the WRm.

@j-slowsongs7641 it is magnetic. Actually, this puzzle is about the exact same size as the GAN 14. I thought I was replying to a comment in the swift block video. The Monster gold is about the same size while the swift block is about the size of the WRM.
