In this Tutorial, we will be learning to Design an Esports Jersey Design. I will be only showing how to design the jersey on a mockup and not how to print it. If you want to learn about creating print files for the jersey, you must use a print file in Illustrator.

To Create a Jersey Design using a Mock-up in Photoshop, you will have to get a Mock-up to do so. You can purchase one from the link mentioned above.
We will start by opening the Mock-up in Photoshop CC. Then we will import the Logo into the same document and use the Color Picker tool to pick a few colors. The Main idea is to create various shapes on layers and create clipping masks so that they are masked on certain parts of the Jersey. We will also jump into illustrator to create cool patterns using the blend tool and import these patterns into Photoshop to integrate them with the shapes that we created earlier.

Yes of course. I work with a few eSports apparel companies who manufacture them for eSports teams. There is actually another process that is to be followed for printing it. Photoshop is just for presentation. You need to design the entire thing in Illustrator in a print file. You can watch that part here. The print file is what will be used for production. @@DesignPilot There's simply no way you submit stuff like this for printing, regardless of whether in illustrator or photoshop. It's great for testing concepts, but nobody who's spent any time working with sublimation (or even DTG) would play around with dropping opacity; it's simply not done when printing onto material. That's just one thing you do on these videos that wouldn't be done with professional apparel printing - there are several more... the world is full of talented artists - most of whom know zilch about design principles because they haven't been trained in them. Having said that, I enjoyed the video.

I only got tif images to download once I purchased. They are blue with white lines and a green line going down the middle. No PSD files in the zips. I got better results by just screen capturing the two pics and then smudging away the parts that I needed to. The only issue is that I do not have the separate parts that you displayed in your tutorial.

There are similar free Mockups on the net. Just download one and try it. If you are able to do it, then you can buy the mockup

Is it best to use the pen tool for shapes and designs? or the rectangle tools?
Depends on what you want to create. But more often, I use the Pentool!

I'm happy I found this video as I'm trying to understand the mockups. I have a major issue though, my mockup looks pixelated and grainy whereas yours and other videos I have seen and smooth and crisp. When I export to png format it carries over the pixelation. Is there a certain way to get around that or am I just screwed?
Which mockup are you using. The mockup has to be pretty high quality, which it usually is. The logo and assets that you add to the mockup have to be high quality too.
@@DesignPilot I'm using a yellow images crew t-shirt. The assets and logo are vector based but I'm still having issues.
Export with the highest quality settings.

when i try to do the lines with my logo the lines overlap in some parts
Can I know how to make the black colour same as yours? Because I don't know how can you got the nice black colour with highlight n shadow effect...
The highlight and shadow effect is a part of the template. I did not make that. Just change the color of the jersey to black by selecting the appropriate part of the jery and changing the color. Please watch the tutorial again.

Hi, when trying to do your video when I click @unitw@ on AI it comes up with an error. "the filter produced no results. please select two overlapping paths" Any idea why?
