Excellent review as always. I always trust your opinions as they are based solely on the product. It’s clear Craig Petty really did a great job on Chop. I will definitely be buying this!
Excellent, to the point, honest--as always--to a fault. Shows that your objective is to give a fair, honest review based on how you perceive the product and that none of this is about personal attacks to the creators.
This is Don Wand Have to Agree with Unbiased Review 100 percent! My opinion this is the Best Magic effect I can think of that Craig Petty put out hands down. I just seen a Street Performer doing this a week ago in Vegas" it played Super Strong. I will give credit where credit is due Great effect to Craig Petty 👍. Don't worry about the sound if your playing for a crowd. Practice this it will Destroy and Entertain any Audience!! Unbiase your amazing 👏 for your Honest Review! Best Wishes Don Wand"
Excellent review. I've got this and I must admit your review has given me fresh impetus to start practicing with it again. On a side note as @MexieMex mentions you reviewing this product in glowing terms is going to confuse the hell out of some people. Just goes to show - to your credit - you really do strive for objectivity and Impartiality in your reviews. Happy Christmas, David and looking forward to your content in 2024.
I bought Chop around a month ago and I completely agree with this review. I'm having tons of fun with it. I can also add that, as a person that has never been close to a chop cup before due to a too strong of a obsession for cards, this is also a great introduction to sleights and rythms typical for chop cup and cups and balls routines. I do agree with the noise issue. It should be possible to cover it by timing it with patter and/or by developing a "delicate touch". Then you'll be less dependent of background noise. I haven't had problems with it in performance situations so far.
Excellent review. It is about time for others to realize that we greatly appreciate Craig Petty and all his wonderful contributions to magic. However, we still feel the need to be able to review different contributions of his according to the benefits we can get from them as magicians. Thanks again, great and balanced, and highly insightful as always!!!
Great review like always, Chop is such a great trick, I don’t know why it isn’t in every magician’s EDC because it’s only a sharpie that takes up any space (which they’re probably carrying or using anyway) and you can do a great short magic show seemingly impromptu
Thank you for a another great unbiased review. I used transformer chop cup for „on the go“ occasions, but this is linked to having with me a deck of cards, which sometimes is impractical - even though nowadays there are so much „non-playing card“ decks out there that it became easier to „justify“ this. Speaking of this - can you do a „top 5 non playing card decks“ (inflection, visionary, snaps, depicting thoughts, etc. )? Thank you again ❤
Great review! I have The Truth and love it. The DIY aspect did concern me initially, but the video instructions are top notch. There is a version of the Truth that can be an EDC. I don’t want to give anything away. The only downside is that the video only teaches one routine. Rectified by looking for more routines elsewhere. I might add Chop to my repertoire later since I have many Petty products and I haven’t been disappointed.
@@UnbiasedMagicReviews yes. Try a smaller m thing wrapped in duct tape wrapped in the bill and it works. No more thud and the tell was softened quite a bit. The insulation of the crumpled bill plus the duct tape really helps. Try it you’ll like it.
"Unbiased" is a well deserved title for you David. Cheers, really appreciated.
Glad you found the review helpful

Great review. I like your grading. Pretty fair and simple. Keep them coming.
A positive review of a Craig Petty release? That's going to confuse the hell out of some people LOL Good review all the same.
That thought did float through my head too.
This is Don Wand" Agree with MexieMex!
Great stuff, mate. Your channel has come leaps and bounds since 2021.
Glad my reviews are helpful to you.
Thanks for the review. I have chop in a drawer. Your review inspired me to bring it back out and play with it.

Very fair review. I have it and I agree with all of it. Worthwhile purchase

I know you have had your issues with Craig. Nice to see you can be objective.

Thank you for the review .
The Canterbury Clubber is still comin' for you. Do not seek the advent of his manager man, The Vicar!
What are you talking about?
Great review, thanks!
Really great review! The noise issue is the only thing concerning me. Thanks for mentioning that.
It’s not an issue if you have some ambient noise in the background

Another A++ review
Thanks Tony
Yes. A+ as always 😊
thank you!
I like the mentalism Idea. I think tho, Chop in itself is one of the best tricks ever. So anything else you do with this gimmick is lesser.

If you use a smaller thing wrapped in duct tape the noise issue is resolved.
It’s not the metallic sound I am referring to. I am referring to the “tell” when it moves and the “thud” when it drops.

Review gate keeper and keymaster, both are gold!
I agree, I always get great reactions with them in the real world 🔥
