As an "advanced maternal age" mama (ugh) who had her baby at 41 I'll add that for us the biggest challenge wasn't adjusting to the baby herself, but the affect it had on our relationship after being just the 2 of us for sooooo long. People assumed we'd have an easier time because of being together a long time before having her, and some of that is true, but man we had a hard time figuring out US after that. We still are a bit and she just turned 13! :)
I had my youngest daughter, fine , healthy and gorgeous daughter, at 42 years old , in an emergency c-section with 2"of cord preceding her down the birth canal!

A wealth of knowledge and I also feel like I'm sitting with a cup of coffee. Plus I think about different things. You say throughout my days, and they make me giggle and smile. My family in some ways is too serious. I do have to say. I love the wave and the curls to your hair. CR remind me of my sons with their hair. I Have one son.He shaves his hair because he didn't wanna see areas where it was thinning. But then my grandchild told they're dad. My son grow your hair out. I wanna see what it is like for you to have hair. And then he started using products to grow those bare areas back. It is worth amazing. Your family is so blessed to have the 2 of you as parents. Life is full of adventure, fun and so much love. Bless you both. Also, thank you for encouraging us. Bring back color which I have fallen into more neutral.

I think our society places such an emphasis on establishing a career and having all your ducks in a row and it being the “right time” that it really discourages couples from pursuing a family early on. I agree with CR that there is no right time to become a parent, you’re never truly ready but being adaptable is such a blessing in parenting. I also think that people equate age with maturity, which I strongly disagree with.
Not having any sisters or close girlfriends I appreciate the unmentionable monday video. I have no clue about most of the current events/people/controversies you guys talk about but I enjoy listening to you two.

Waited til I was 35 to have a kid and we think it was the best choice for us. We got to live wild and free for the first 15 years of our marriage. By the time we had our son, we felt like we didn’t need to be selfish anymore and we were financially and relationally much stronger. We would have been horrid parents at 20 when we got married. I think WHEN you have kids is really dependent on who you are. Your channel cracks me up. Screw the algorithm. Just be you and do what you do. We love you and we will be here for it all.

Would love your suggestions on the curly hair. Mine is similar to yours. Mine use to be straight but do to meds it has gone wavy, curly, frizzy. I have frustration with it. I don’t like crunch of moose and I think it dries it out. Can you Please offer suggestions . 😊
