Yes you do! I don't point that out properly, but you can see the spall at: 27:09.
Berytos main here. For blood hunting, the most mathematically efficient blood hunting is blood 2 with a rod. This is different then dom5; where the most efficient was blood 2 or blood 1 with a rod. This means that I always spam priests and the blood 2's i give a rod. You want to patrol with Con 3 bird summons. you want 4-6 priests and two birds for max hunting. I have used your second bless to incredible effect in dom 6.

Welcome in. You are in at least a little luck, as we already have Fomoria (and the stream had an exciting ending!). I am always happy to hear what people are interested in, but I can't say when we will get to them. :)
@BabelBuilder little late to this video but I share the same sentiment that i am loving your content as a new player. In this one you went through the spell tree for blood and pointed out some really good spells, I wouldn't move l mind if you did that in your other nation overviews or even if you had videos specifically for each school/path.
I've gravitated toward Berytos since I first started playing, looking for an empire that had something like the old school Phoenician phalanx, this is about as close as you get in EA. Thanks for making this, curious to see more.

Blood hunting: Want a 7500+ pop province; need a patrol squad since blood hunting causes significant unrest, and we have air access for call of the winds (conj 3 A2) for no upkeep fliers (increased patrol). I've heard B3 is the most efficient to blood hunt at (usually a B2 with a sanguine dowsing rod), but I figure a B1 with a rod will do fine. Really make sure you got some bodyguards (ie our sacreds) on the hunter as the peasants ROUTINELY try to assassinate them.
The population boost seems like it helps the ea blood hunting a lot.
I really like all the new assassination events. They really spice things up and lead to cool or tense moments.

Berytos seems like a very cool high skill nation... Are storm callers more efficient in Dom6?
Also, you have a 17 path hero... going luck 2 or 3 seems mandatory for this nation~
Everything has a price. Fortune could be pretty good for those heroes, but its taking away from your bless or other scales. Could be fun if you were to get them early though!

with the Queen you can cast Blood fecundity to increase the growth scales in key provinces. Can help offset the effects of bloodhunting some.
Edit: With that blood bless, even the basic Collosi sacreds you get will be able to do a decent job. The small bit of regen will make them last much longer.
That has been my experience so far. Collosi are okay, even if they are not amazing, they benefit from whatever you are getting for your better sacreds.
Favorite Nation by far
I think Berytos and Phaecia are really cool and pretty different from what a lot of games offer for factions/nations.
Similar to what I tried on Dom5 and snap on the D6 design for single player. Are you likely to be bullied early on in multiplayer using Berytos non expander though? Keep hearing that.
I have not been part of the Dom6 meta, but from experience I'd say it really depends on the game. People likely know you are going for blood and will power spike when you get there, so that does make you a target. On the other hand, most newer players tend to be pretty passive if you don't do anything to them.

The B1 Priest is pretty cheap so you can make big communions with them.
