Selt is a right arse for behaving like that in front of the kid. He was very clearly apologetic about it, there was no reason to further make the boy feel even worse about it. Terrible attitude.
If Selt changed his attitude I feel he would be much more successful. He seems to be the most negative player on the tour. Flukes are part of the game, that kid didn't deserve to he punished with behaviour like that
We know it's very hard to stay consistent at top level but this certainly isn't gonna help Matt Selt. Hope this doesn't affect the kid's confidence in forthcoming matches.
I love Snooker and have never watched Zizins, but I feel like he portrays himself very well here showing empathy. Though he will soon have to lose that feeling of guilt if he is going to succeed in elite level sort :)
Proper gamer rage by Selt. Seriously though. If you are highly competitive, its difficult to lose at times. But at the very least he should properly apologize to the kid after cooling down.
I've seen the Rory McLeod v Dave Gilbert incident before, but I still cannot decide what Rory was actually arguing about! Matt Selt incident is a new one, but get the impression he can be a bit of a baby.
It must be close for the Rory one, but surely the ref can just place a red to show that both sides of the green can be hit, if he CAN'T, then Rory's right.
Sent can be pissed off aw he wants, end of the day his own doing it got to that point anyway. If he played better and was ahead 5 4 frames for example, then the fluke would have less impact overall, so his own fault. Good on the kid, hope he has a successful snooker career, we need more Brits coming through to takeover from the aging older pro's.

As a Ronnie fan Mark selby is a pure gentleman🔥🤵
Selt is mumpy grumpy kid... Crying
If thats how he chooses to act, long may the flukes against him continue.
Gary Wilson's fluke was awesome.

Matt Selt incident took place last night
DING JUNHUI VS BRECEL SCOTTISH OPEN
If that was me against Selt i'd be laughing.....loudly. Bad losers always make me laugh. :)
I’ve always thought selt was a piece of work
Ronnie did NOT try his best in the end.
Ronny = schlechter Verlierer
At the very least I’d stop his sweets and pop for two weeks

How is playing confident exhibition shots on frame ball being disrespectful, especially when they result in good position?
Its either disrespect to his opponent or Ronnie is lost his temper(2nd part of the title)
Simple😅
