I actually like the chorus more than the rest of the song tbh. I feel like the verses give...cheesy tween vibes, like something I'd listen to in 5th grade. But the chorus hits and I'm vibing. The only verse line I liked was Liz's, but girly got 7 seconds to sing and then got kicked off 💀

It was originally called 90's Bitch, it was officially confirmed by the composers, however, seeing that Starship didn't want curse words, it was changed to Kitsch. EDIT: Also, 90's was changed for Ive to nineteen's because its their overall average age.
Kitsch is basically when you look back at like trends from like the 90s that are maybe a Bit questionable or camp and not liked by everybody you could say thats 90s kitsch
Except they are saying "Nineteen" not 90's, they are saying Ninteen's Kitsch

I love the balance between IVE's cute version and their edgy version when the chorus hits as they have that demonic emoji outline in the background as they basically try to live their best lives despite the mindless hate they receive. And also, in a way, the chorus sounds like "kids of the 90s" and I think the clothes go really well with the 90s, especially the baseball jackets? Either way it's a big SLAP in the face to the unloved haters, 🤣🤣. I'm in love with this chorus and love their energy as always!😍👏👏

From what I heard, in a couple of the other b-sides in this upcoming album, that they performed recently, Liz has quite a lot of lines in them. Be interesting to see how many lines she has in the title track when they release it in 2 weeks
