This experience accentuates the directive to Love all of creation. What I am getting out of this recurrent theme is that we ourselves will also benefit when we let down our guard and judgement etc and just love one another as unconditionally as we can and love creation, animals and plants and trees etc...we will live better lives on earth and be of greater service to God and others.....It is a complete win-win for all, including us.

I had a spirit come to me while I was wide awake and said (in a man’s voice) “You are receiving the light of God, when you hear them speak of Jesus , this is what they are referring to.” Then an incredible bright light filled my body and I became weightless and felt like I was being levitated off my bed. I had a similar experience while sleeping when i first got saved... I heard a voice say "do you want to receive the Holy Spirit?" I said yes! (Who would reject that offer?!?) then a brilliant bright golden light entered the pit of my stomach, the only words I know to describe it are POWER and ENERGY started to radiate through my soul/spirit, I've never felt anything like it before... then after that God performed miracle after miracle, after break through after break through after victory after victory through my life and he got me out of a dark situation many times... I received power ambition motivation boldness to read the Bible more often, I became more aware of God's presence everyday, and miracles started happening in my life, salvation from demonic torment... I know God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are real ❤️ "John says "as many as believed in him gave he Power to become the sons of God" he changed my life forever 💚💙🩵
Oh and whenever I rebuke demonic torment or temptation to sin, I rebuked my flesh (I used to battle with lust) then I felt that same power rise up in my stomach, and he gave me power to overcome sin and death over my life (I also uses to have schizophrenia) Jesus Holy Spirit set me completely free I never took any medication... The Holy Spirit taught me how to hear and recognize the voice of God more, now my prayers are more conversational and I recognize that God is more responsive to us than we realize...
Read the Book of John, John 1 talks about that light, that light that first lights newborns when we first are born into this world, if you've ever held a baby and felt this light, it is the light of God, in Gods light is life... the life of God hovers over us in the beginning when we are fresh from the other side because we come from him...
Reflects very nicely what the Bible says in John 14 vs 20. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

I definitely do.I had an oob experience one nite after intensive praying to God.Afterwards,as I slept I also witnessed this glorious wonderful unearthly light for a very short time,yet it was intense with unearthly love and brightness.There's not one thing in this world to compare with the feelings of this indescribable and unearthly love of that light. Desperately,I longed and hungerd to reside in it forever,however, I was suddenly awakened in my bed,shivering,trembling and completely drenched wet all over body,head to feet.Again there is not one thing in this world compares to the love it conveyed.I know definitely it was Jesus Christ who allowed me to know he loves us completely and hears and answers our prayers.

I really enjoyed this narration/experience Leigh! Loved the authors description of the tunnel and the light. Realized I have another question for God when my time comes, i want to ask him "how many times have i stood before him and do we get a say in if we want to be reincarnated. My answer to that, if given the choice is a resounding NO THANK YOU. But if its required, back to earth I'll go. I really liked the idea/fact that nature can feel our emotions.. I'm kind of a "tree hugger" myself 😊 Ive noticed the older i get the more i appreciate God's beautiful tapestry he created for us ❤️

At the young age of almost…79, I too have become a tree hugger & I love to talk to all of them & plants. All creation means more to me than ever. Our Creator is awesome & so good to us. Every day is a day for giving thanks.🥰

I can confirm all that he said was truth. I too had an NDE and experieces of the profound love and knowing. It put me on a path working with Shamans and Healers around the world. I have sat in hundreds of hours of sacred ceremonies with plant medicines and I have crossed over experiencing my life review, my families life reviews, travled the cosmos, gone through the history of earth and into future potential timelines. Been in the living movie of many lifetimes and even my deaths. We are eternal beings that have had or "have" as all time is happening now, thousands of lifetimes to learn and evolve through these experiences. We come from a place of unconditional love, peace, and all knowing. And to it we shall return.

Wow what a great NDE! There are roses in front of my apartment building, or at least there were before the cold came, but when they are there, I smell them and tell them how beautiful they are. I'm glad to know that this has a positive affect on them.

I can't say that I'm convinced reincarnation is as common as this may suggest, but I also cannot say that it isn't. I can say based on my lifetime, I want no part of it. That said, this story is an absolute masterpiece of eternal wisdom and truth that everyone should ponder, in order to recalibrate their interactions with others.
It's understandable that when we get to Heaven we wouldn't want to go back, except if there is much more yet to gain by going back I guess

Thank you for sharing Tom's incredible near-death experience. It's truly a profound and enlightening journey that he undertook. The vivid description of the tunnel, the speck of light, and the overwhelming beauty of the divine light at the end is awe-inspiring . The idea that our personality is just a small part of the whole soul, and the soul does not evolve but experiences different personalities, adds depth to the understanding of spiritual existence.

You can! I don't think anyone knows about whether we are going to be judged persay. The gospel accounts are all somewhat contradictory both with themselves and with Paul's letters. The gospel of John seems to really focus on living water, living life here and now to the fullest through his divine power. That is to say, Jesus truly loves you and isn't there to punish you or send you to hell because you didn't say the magic words. What is real is the love that he showed on this earth, that is what changed the world. Some for the good, some for the bad, who am I to judge, but that closeness to him is the wonderful thing and the only real good in life, and we are lucky to have him to follow through prayer...just my thoughts on it all, but it can't all really be put into words (there's the whole problem with religion in a nutshell). This was a good one although I've got a couple questions because it's my nature: 1. agnostic gets accepted into Heaven? 2. God told him once he decides to become part of the light there's no going back but apparently he joined the light and came back?
Agreed. That part makes no sense to me and it's never explained. In fact I don't even recall him describing anything after becoming one with the "light".
The light was explicitly clear that once he chooses to assimilate he would cease to exist as an independent self. Yet obviously that never happened because he is here to tell the story. It definitely casts some doubt onto the narrative.. perhaps there is an explanation but we may never know
@@ravenodinson7483 His difficulty in articulating the experience was immediately apparent but the effort to articulate certain details give his narrative credibility. He's not a natural writer, he wrote in a stream of consciousness kind of way, but there are gems to be gleaned from his testimony regardless.

God showed me the way the first of this year I was filled with anger self loathing and judgemental against myself and was growing away from believing in god . I experienced shame and guilt about things I’ve done in my life many things I wasn’t proud of and was having a hard time sleeping as well. But I started reaching out to him and my spirit soared I felt ten times lighter he took my shame and guilt away! Did I do wrong and the shame and guilt just go away? Yes it did but I know what I’ve done but he took off my shoulders and I realized that in Order to not have this shame and guilt is to live right in the first place

I believe that Jesus will allow us to do whatever we want and will do things to show us the truth. He gave us a freewill that he wouldn't interfere with. We must choose our paths in life and how we treat each other. So choose to do the right thing I know that I have not been the most perfect person but thanks to Jesus and with his help and grace I will make it..
Hi there, there are a series of small books called "The Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East" written by Baird T. Spalding. I read these books in the early 90s. They are a huge eye opener to seeing Jesus and Budda together to many other enlightened experiences. I couldn't stop there and continued forward searching for higher experiences.
@J-hz4jb Those books were based on facts and the truth, which is what humanity I hope is searching for in their lives.
I do believe he saw Jesus. I have no reason to doubt their experience. What a fortunate lesson learned with an opportunity to change course for that person. Why, if he was told he won’t be able to return after becoming one with the light, did he obviously return? I need to listen again, maybe?
What happens if a person is incapable of loving another because of their mental capacity or lack thereof? The depressed, mentally ill, the tortured, etc.
We can only move forward and learn from this and be good humans and love one another. I wouldn’t want to do life all over again.

@@bobveklotz7914 Oh yes, I do trust the Bible. I also believe people do have NDE, and this one was so good, but left questions. I think the message was good and if we all took what was said, applied it, we’d have more harmony and happiness in the world. John 13:34: I pray everyday to love others as God sees them. I’m a far cry from that….I just strive daily to do my best. It’s hard, but we will never be perfect in this life as Christ was on earth.

I think the description of the life review sounds correct. I almost drowned as a kid and saw my life flash before my eyes. I was young so there wasn’t judgement. I asked to be left here because it didn’t look like I had done much yet and I was suddenly in the shallow area of the lake. I felt God rescued me. I think I had been given a choice. I had started inhaling water and no one knew what was happening to me. God did.

I absolutely do believe that Tom had an amazing and teaching experience with Jesus! I love listening to NDE’s ! I personally get so bogged down spiritually and it’s a spiritual battle every single day! I completely believe in our Holy Father. My struggle is battling the earthly thoughts and emotions and it weighs heavily on me so at this point I’d say I wouldn’t care to come back but who’s to know how our spirit will react to that opportunity. I literally had a relationship with a tree.
It sat at a distance in my view where I parked my car- every time I got in my car or got out of it- I would pause -and look at that tree and think to myself how beautiful and absolutely perfect it was.
I felt love for the tree- imagining what all that tree may have seen.
It was at least 100 years old.
This went on for 5 years.
Every day.
My tree- that I loved so much.
Sadly the tree was just outside of my property.
I would worry sometimes knowing that wasn't my land- and I couldn't protect the tree from being destroyed- if someone had a mind to do that.
About 3 years ago- that land was sold and that guy cleared all of that land.
I just happened to get home to seeing my tree friend being murdered. And literally- thats how it felt- like murder.
Nobody on the planet cared or stopped to notice.
Except for me- and I couldn't do a thing about it.
I still miss that tree.
I like to think it reappeared somewhere in heaven.

I hope there is something that others feel and see when they die after living a violent, selfish life. I have known wonderful people with bad habits or parts of their character that was unsettling, yet their belief in God wad firm. I truly hope they felt love and forgiveness wherw they ended up.

I wonder... 8:22 puts forth a decision - namely, one can choose to stay with the light or return. However choosing to stay with the light ends any opportunity to return to Earth - a door is closed if you will. Then, we finally get a primary reason for life review, which is to provide a complete understanding and knowledge for one to make this decision. That makes sense for me, at least.
Why is it impossible to have free will in the future if he doesn't allow himself to be coerced into coming back to this life. It seems a bit manipulative. It gives credence to the prison planet theory. Hopefully, there is a good explanation that will come forward as things are seemingly coming more and more to light. Pun intended.

As far as perfection is concerned, Jesus said be ye perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect. The only way to be perfect in God’s eyes (even though you’re a retched sinner) is to accept Jesus who is perfect as your Savior. Once you accept the free gift of salvation you are in-dwelt with the Holy Spirit and become a new creation.

A few years ago, I had to have a total hip replacement due to Osteo Arthritis. During surgery, I had lost more blood than was at first ascertained. I was told afterwards, by my daughter Raina, that while In post-op, my blood pressure dropped significantly and I lost consciousness & had no heart beat. My daughter Raina was there through it all and told me what I am telling you occurred while I was unconscious.
Meanwhile: I saw an angel, in a long white robe, with beautiful white- silvery wings down in a relaxed position, with shoulder length platinum blond hair and the most BEAUTIFUL BLUE EYES I HAVE EVER SEEN! And, standing next to the angel was my deceased daughter Desiree, who had died suddenly at 25 due to pulmonary embolism.
She spoke to me to ask me to pray for her father who had died of cancer just three months before. Then, they were gone and I was conscious and aware that there was an emergency team working on stabilizing me. The reason I nearly died was an extremely adverse reaction to Vicadin, a pain killer I was given. I will never forget how filled with love & joy I was, at seeing my daughter Desiree w/ an angel. It gave me a comforting sense of peace, knowing she is with angels.

Also there are plenty of people who have had Heaven experiences that validate that we never lose our free will. I'm afraid this guy's understanding was incomplete but this is understandable since he hadn't really invested any time into learning the Truth.
Yes, this shows that we have to be careful with NDEs. They all vary. Jesus is very prominent though!

I'm afraid he misunderstood about merging with Christ in His Light form. He said he had the choice to do so and he would become "totally homogeneous with It." This isn't true. There have been a few NDEs in which the person did merge with the Light and realized that he simultaneously was merged with Jesus and also retained his unique individuality. God doesn't birth us and grow us into unique children only to consume us so that we lose our individual identities. That doesn't happen. That's a mistaken assumption made by people who have never merged with God. When God takes you into mergence with Him you get to experience some aspects of His Being like infinite extension in Space. But you never lose your identity and you never will. I speak from experience not speculation.
So you have merged with God - and yet you're here on TH-cam writing comments for us to read? Its a miracle! So if we read your comments, does that mean God is then inside our brain?
@@J-hz4jb Well I've certainly read the New Testament (or most of it, anyway). I've read a number of different translations. I may well have had the Holy Spirit of God in my brain while doing so. I mean, all things are possible. Or so I've read somewhere. But I never had any kind of transcendent or spiritual experience - that I remember - as a result of reading the New Testament. I do have faith, but not necessarily in what other people believe about the Bible. And after all, the Bible is in fact the written word of others. Of course, they're all dead now.
I don't know if any of that helps you in any way. I suspect not.
With God all things are possible. I have merged with Father-God many times because He's taken me into Himself, so to speak. I sought Him fervently and I had heard of and greatly desired the Mystical Union that the famous mystics wrote about. And because I wanted Him for Him alone and not for His gifts, He gifted me with Himself. I believe Jesus graced me with a hunger for Father-God, to know Him personally. But some say that desire for God is deep within us all. Yes, God does miracles, many, for many people, daily. In the state of Union He took me into, We are formless and the mergence of fields of being is possible. But like Jesus said, "I, of myself, do nothing. The Father Within He doeth the works." We cannot achieve this ourselves. There's no pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps into God. As my favorite musician Ben Hastings wrote, "How far beneath Your Glory does Your Kindness extend the path." I do love witnessing for Him and hoping others can benefit from what I've learned. And that they can have hope because others have gone before to attest to God and His Goodness and Lovableness (is that a word?) Yes, God is everywhere including in our brains. Every Member of The Holy Trinity is everywhere but They coalesce, or hold form, or manifest, however you want to term it, in specific places usually.@@anthonypanneton923

However, I do find it unfortunate that we seem burdened with certain words and phrases - like "Holy Trinity" or "Glory" or even just the word "God" or the name "Jesus" (which is actually an Anglicized translation of his original birth name), or dualistic concepts like "above / below." Such words / names / concepts carry and hold different (and not always useful or accurate) meanings for different people - especially those raised within cultures & societies permeated by certain sects of the Christian religion.

This reminds me of Hinduism a little bit. When I was in a religion class, they talked about how in Hinduism that the ultimate goal is to be one with Brahman, which is another word for God. It seems to me that all of the religions in the world have some characteristics to these near death Experiences

That was a WOW! I'm wondering if we can reincarnate way into the future since supposedly there is no time and everything has already happened? People will say they want to go back to the 1800's, not me, I love innovation so I'd love to reincarnate thousands of Earth years in the future.

I believe that using words (or books filled with words) to try to explain or understand the Divine Reality is like using a black & white smartphone screen with low resolution to show someone a video of a big fireworks display or a walk along the shore of an ocean, and expecting to convey some understanding of what those things are like. You can only really understand what those things are like by being there. If your only experience with bodies of water are small lakes and streams, its very difficult to accurately gain an understanding of what the ocean is like. All the words in all the books in this world give us only a grainy, out-of-focus, and mostly misleading picture of what the Divine Reality is.
And when you add to that the fact that people will believe pretty much anything, and that belief, thoughts, and imagination are the (quite powerful) tools we have at our disposal with which to create the "reality" we experience - its quite murky trying to draw conclusions based on what someone else says they experienced. Its like showing someone a red truck and asking if they believe its red. If they are convinced that its blue, what's the point of trying to persuade them that its "really" red? For someone who remembers some of their other lifetimes, no amount of words explaining to them that "reincarnation is a lie" will carry much weight.

I found it interesting that the author describes merging with the light as a one-way trip. In essence, you have a choice to cross over fully and "you can never go back" to use a quote from All Dogs go to Heaven, or you can return in this life or a reincarnate life. Chief reason is that if you cross over and didn't learn "everything" you could, then there is a kind of dissatisfaction or disappointment knowing you could "do" more. All very interesting. It seems you are created with lack of this or that, of which can only be attained by our dealings and interactions here on Earth. It starts to sound like a works-based paradigm.
My favorite part is that time is not really linear why you choose to reincarnate...I like the idea that time can run anyway...not sure how I feel that all time is fully present in the eternal life...not sure even I have the conceptual understanding to register that...

What makes the reincarnationist think they have anything to do with soul cleansing? Moreover, the Infinite God forgives infinitely. There is no logical need to reincarnate, or "keep trying."
His experience and insights add to the collective understanding that we are spiritual beings having a life in a vessel to grow in wisdom and understanding and forgiveness and love. I know my own challenges that were chosen before I incarnated. I believe I will be given the grace and time to learn the hardest lesson for me...to forgive.
Why is it impossible to have free will in the future if he doesn't allow himself to be coerced into coming back to this life. It seems a bit manipulative. It gives credence to the prison planet theory. Hopefully, there is a good explanation that will come forward as things are seemingly coming more and more to light. Pun intended.
He says the light was Jesus and then the light was God which was puzzling (is it Jesus or God?)... and then he described becoming the light and experiencing the light's power which was interesting... Aside from that, I do believe that if God wants to breathe someone into life he will, he has the power to bring a soul to life or to death at his will, so reincarnation can happen and only that I can agree with him. Anyway, If he's just being honest then I appreciate his testimony as well as your narration, Thanks . And to answer your question, I don't know if he really saw Jesus 🤷♂️
regarding your first question - for many (most?) Christians, the difference between "God" and Jesus is hazy, to say the least. In Christian doctrine, (as the popular saying goes): "Jesus is Lord." In other words, Jesus = God. But HOLD ON, THERE"S MORE! And this is where Christian theology begins to get a bit fuzzy. God is typically understood to be a Trinity - ONE God, but comprised of three "persons" (not to be confused with human persons): God The Father, God The Son (Jesus), and God The Holy Spirit. None of the three are in any way deficient without the others (such a thing being an impossibility anyway), and yet each is considered to be "fully" God. It is, as they say - a mystery. That is of course, if you accept such a doctrine - which most Muslims do not.

This world has a sin problem, and all of humankind suffers from the sin problem, and our sin nature. It’s amazing to me when people meet Jesus during a near death experience that Jesus never caused them to repentance. Some of Jesus first words and scripture called people to repent of their sins, because the kingdom of God was near the Bible teaches that we are dead in our sins and trespasses, and that’s why Jesus came, but we have to Believe and trust and obey and his teachings are found in scripture to inherit eternal life. Jesus and Buddha are not the same, and the Bible definitely does not teach reincarnation Jesus is the only way no one can come to the father except through him.

I love Life itself however, this world has become so dark due to the rampant EVIL that has soaked into everything! The sky is no longer bright blue, the gras and trees look little more than dead... the atmosphere feels so heavy.. and people no longer care to interact with another human being even to receive or acknowledge a si.ple good morning😢.... If he’s speaking of Christ, as in Jesus Christ, there’s no way incarnation could’ve been mentioned and if it was mentioned it probably wasn’t Christ speaking to him. Please, everyone read your Bible. No one is coming back as something else. We are to live eternally in either heaven or hell…the way we live our life here o this earth will be how we choose our eternal destination.
