Kate! I LOVE your idea of a junk journal costume!!!!! Idea for the "edges of the papers" side of your costume:. Accordion pleat fabric or cardstock and attach it to back foam board, then make it wide enough to be comfortable and Velcro it to the front piece!!!❤️❤️❤️
This is a fabulous idea!!!! I wish I had a costume party to attend, as I would make a journal like this for myself. Now I’m curious if I can make journal costumes for my collies….. hmmm. A new adventure!
Yeah! I’m first comment! Good morning! Love your journals Kate! Cute idea for costume!! One year I had a poster on a string around my neck with a roll of toilet paper.. I was a bathroom wall .. carried a sharpie so people could write on it!
Sadly Halloween isn’t a big thing over here so no costumes in this house 😕 but I did wonder if frilly lace would be good as the open edge down your side as the open book end so it’s soft and it’s like the Lacy edges journals people make, or frilly material of some sort 😀 was fun going shopping with you, great video!

I’m fine! I just got super busy and needed to cut back on projects. Sorry it was so abrupt! The fall is always a crazy time of year for me. I’ll be back again when things calm down. 💖
