You never know. Sometimes actors are not getting the roles they want, and film producers exploit the same type of hero over and over again. Actors are usually exhausted playing the same roles. @@ForteExpresso oh well, everyone interprets it from their own perspective and sees what they want to see right? For me, I'm a hopeless romantic, so their love story was deeply emotional. It's also about the lesson that love conquers all obstacles in the end and there's nothing a woman cannot do once she puts her mind to it (she did persuade him to change his mind about family and children in the end didn't she (sorry, SPOILER ALERT here)). The values that they had back in the 19th century, when a woman's virtue was guarded like treasure until she's married, also deeply resonate with me. So yeah, if you have a different experience with this show, I can totally get that. It doesn't have to be loved by every single person on the planet. But for me, it touched all the right strings. That's why I'm saying it deserves more attention. You can't deny at least that it's better that all those modern movies about no strings attached kind of relationship.

I love that Regé seems appreciative but respectful about the Bond speculations. He knew that there might be already a confirmed next Bond that we don’t know about and i guess what he said is a great way to put stop fans in suggesting him to be the Bond. I mean, he’s an amazing actor and he suits the role perfectly but it was kind of offensive to the person already casted as Bond.
Also I love how he mentioned Phoebe, the show is also about Daphne, you know? He’s so appreciative and so down to earth. How can you not love this guy?

I fell in love with his Duke of Hastings character but somehow I’m more intrigued by Rege Jean Page. He seems like a genuine all around cool guy. I was smiling the whole time watching this like he was talking to me!
I am so excited that Jimmy had Rege-Jean on the show. I will never get tired of seeing his interviews. He needs to be on more shows. I will use his words "His laughter brings me joy" and puts a smile on my face in a year that was difficult and challenging. I am grateful. Rege-Jean Page is such an incredible and talented actor. He is gorgeous,, intelligent, witty, and eloquent. He certainly has a regal way about him.
I really love the scene Jimmy chose because it is my favorite. I felt like they were having the best time dancing and enjoyed themselves in that scene. Their smiles seemed so genuine.

Every few years another gentleman comes along and woos the TV watching Public. Kit Harrington, now Regé-Jean Page. I really hope he has a long, successful and HAPPY career. Hopefully the stresses of life don't become too much.
Kit was one-dimensional though. We've seen his work before bridgerton. Rege does different accents with his performances. Even with Bridgerton,.he sounds different from the character.

He comes across as truly lovely but I prefer his ‘bad boy’ character on Bridgerton.
other than dashing and gorgeous, his acting is phenomenal. and his accent is one of the reasons I bite my lip with anticipation everytime he talks.
He doesn't have Bonds accent though (which is Received Pronunciation). Even the scot Sean Connery and the Aussie George lazenby did their best attempt at it. Craig's accent I admit is more estuary and is all wrong for the part (Bond is an ex officer of the Royal Navy and went to Eton, he should sound like Christopher Lee, or Fleming himself, who both went there).

The latest bond film has been pushed all the way back until next fall. The bond producers are not going to announce the next bond until after that film releases. We don’t know who they’ll choose but Rege-Jean has a shot.
