Thanks so much!! For those stuck on visor 😂 when facing,(driver side) tab goes to the left, (passenger tab to right) after pushing/spinning tab to left 1/8 full turn it breaks free. Just purchased mine opened sunroof and here we are.. guess I'd rather worry about the sunroof than the 220k on the motor. 😂
THANK YOU!!! My sunroof was stuck retracted and I was able to remove the headliner and turn the motor to restore it to the closed position. I am so glad I unplugged the battery; I had to sit backwards with the seats reclined to get the visors off.
This sun visor is super annoying i saw the pin but didnt know what to do with it, i know many ppl dont want to make the time to make the video but i wanna say i appreciate the vid man great stuff
Thanks for this video. I have a 2012 CR-V with a stuck sunroof and there's little info on how to do this. I'd be happy to just find the spot where I can manually crank it closed. Maybe near that dome light.
Sup, I own a white Honda Civic Coupe EX 2010. Im planning to recolour my top half interior from tan to black soon. This will prob help out a lot when i need go deassemble it and paint the pieces outside well before going ham and just spraying inside the car! :D
Hey sorry I don't have that car anymore so I can't do a video but if you're talking about the A pillars there are airbags behind there so be careful. I looked up A panel on bing and it brought up the dash. I'm not sure which you are referring to but I never took the dash apart although I'm sure if you take a break and spend some time with it, You will figure it out.
Honda Dreamz Hey so I finished removing my headliner on my 2010 accord coupe. I found out that it’s held on by some clips similar to “tapping screws” you would use drywall. So basically what I had to do was hit the location of the screw until it was loose then pull it off. I can try to make a video if anybody needs that.
This was a good video as I’m trying to figure out why there is a rattle your video makes it look easy I think panel tools would make life easier than a screwdriver.. just my two cents
Did you ever figure out what was wrong with it? I ended up going to a sunroof repair guy.. he had to replace a sunroof cable.. and replaced a few chewed up loose screws
There was a piece of branch stuck in the track. I couldn't see it from the bottom. Could only see it through the top once the sunroof was removed. It was small but apparently not small enough. Originally I did not have the proper size bit to open the sunroof.
I have some noises coming from the headliner I’m thinking might be on the sunroof metal frame, i will need to put the headliner down to see if i can kill those pop noises, your sunroof had some noises or not ?
No noises. It just wouldn't stay closed. Actually while closing there was a pop. There was just something stuck in the track. If your window is open a lot maybe you got some leaves or branches in there. If you have a proper size Allen wrench, it's easier to remove the glass and go from the top.
@@CorneliusHardyMedia Actually it's fairly close. I found a Service Manual for the 2008 that had a great breakdown on how to get the headliner out. Lot of work. But if anyone needs more information instead of buying the motor for the sunroof which was about $250 (I bought the motor to just get it done), there is a $5 relay in the motor on the circuit board. It's a small black cube and if you can solder removing the old one and replacing with a new relay may save you a ton of many. Thanks for the video, helped a lot.
Honda Dreamz appreciate your concern. It was the sun visor was heck to take off, I wanted to see it physically taken off but now I understand how much of a pain it is. Appreciate the feedback!!

Thank you, I didn’t need to remove my headliner, only needed to removal the roof handles and such to tuck in a wire for a dash cam, so this helped!
Glad it helped. Thanks for watching.
This is so helpful!! Thank you for making this video. I'll be installing sound deadening on my 13 civic and wanted to remove the headliner
You're welcome! I hope it works for you!
I’m gonna use your video to remove my 2012 Accord headliner. This has all the pertinent info. Gonna replace the fabric.

I was thinking about insulting my headliner for my 2009 Honda Fit. Thanks to give me an idea what to semi expect

Can you do a video on how to completely remove the A panel in the front please I've been trying for day

Good video brother. My sunroof is acting up on me
Thanks for watching. Hope it helped.
You fix it? Mines fucked up too, doesn’t want to close. If you did how was the job?
Great video! Thank you for your help!
Hey thanks for watching.
Please show how to remove the rear panels (C pillars) that’s the only thing I need to do and I can’t seem to do it. Please help.
Those panels are on with clips just like the sides. It was hard to remove while recording.

@@krazykoala9369 there was some debris. Probably from years of stuff flying in. Once cleaned out, it was good to go.
My sunroof was doing the same thing, minus the clicking. All I did was clean and lube the track...

Sorry I thought I was logged in as Honda Dreamz. Same person. This is my other account.
Hey! I have a 9th gen civic coupe and the sunroof won’t close, do I have to take all that off to close manually?
You might be able to do it from the top. There are a few screws. Check for leaves amd objects blocking it from closing too though.
How did u get out the headliner? Like which angle did u do it
Take it out from the passenger side and put the gear shift all the way back until you get it out that will be enough room to slide it out.
tsss couldn’t have explained better
Thanks. Hope it helped.
Thank you for a wonderful and well sprained video it’s so helpful

How do you take out the sunroof frame? My frame has rust and I need to change it
I didn't remove the entire frame but I'm sure it's just screws.
Thanks for all of the comments on this video. For some reason, I don't get all of the alerts so I'm super late to a lot of these. It's not on purpose.

Honestly I'm not sure.

Did you figure out what was wrong with the sunroof? My civic is same issue but stuck open
There was a piece of branch or something stuck inside probably from trees above. You can actually take a look and try to remove it from the outside.
Thank you for showing us on how to remove the sun visor..
You're welcome
I miss my 12 coupe Civic :(
I miss this one too. I don't have it anymore.
wheres the motor for the sunroof?
thanks
