You can actually see an effect on the mob when they enter it; it's a shimmer similar to the energy shield rares, and only highlights them for a split second. It's a huge area, screen covering
mobs near the edge of your screen have a noticeable visual effect when going in/out of its area, also when you learn bosses telegraphed moves then spec into Apex- youll notice the timing difference
You can get a duration shield, think it's called anvil. makes your time freeze way longer. There are some chronomancers with 27s time freese. so basically turn off a boss.. but still gotta dps it. Im thinking this could be insane for hardcore
Can you please test Blasphemy + 2x curses (with "Whispers of Doom" at the top of passive tree), then test if HexBlast consumes both curses like in the skill video says.
I've been testing my Titan build and learned that Devastate does not work with Leap Slam, It will not break armor on heavy stun as intended. I was trying to get some synergy with armor break explosion and leap slam but Devastate doesn't work and it's literally in the recommended tab. Boooooo!😅
I don't have the time to build it out until there is an app that can extract the build like Builder....But I've made a couple videos on this on my channel.
@@Basedard i feel like thatd be worth looking into then, i know there is a slow magnitude node on the tree and if that applies to the slow given here thats kinda nuts
@@Basedard I'm not really sure this logic applies to this specific game, sound though it may be. It truly is massive in scope and can use all the man hours in actual testing it can get.
Lol, pay $30 to test a game, do you understand how ridiculous that sounds? Do you understand why Deadlock is in early access and also free to play? Early access is to collect feedback from actual players and fix unnoticed bugs, not to make players test out basic fucking functions of the game. You're paying $30 to get access to an early version of the game. You're paying for an early experience, not to check for them if left clicking will move the character forward like it fucking says it would. It's all revenue.
Good to see it works, but on a sidenote I can't really agree that the recoup for Chronomancer is *that* good considering you have to spend ascendancy points just to get PoE1's recoup. They would have to reduce it to over 2 seconds for it to be really good if you ask me.
POE POE 2. Recoup is way more powerful in poe 2 because of the limited regen options. But you are right it probably should be a little stronger the second node should have 15% life regeneration rate as well as making it 4 seconds.
@@Basedard Okay maybe it's not fair to compare PoE1 to PoE2 1 for 1, but if you compare Chrono recoup to Infernalist Demonhound dmg taken first or Altered Flesh, Chrono is kind of a joke ascendancy. That said, I think Apex of the Moment with imp curse Temp Chains might be the strongest defense in the entire game for high end bossing so I think your video proved a good concept.
This is more indicative of how this is a borderline useless ascendancy node. Ascendancy nodes should have more drastic and notable effects. If you need to run tests to tell if it's working or not, it's not a useful node.
I didn't need to run a test people in my chat were saying it was bugged so I figured I'd make a video so people can see it. I like the node and think its the strongest defense node in the game.

in the Black Chambers, act 3, there is a gunner mob, it s very slow at recharging his gun, if u use Apex next to him it s very clear it works

well look at that...In game I would have never noticed this.
THANK YOU for testing this out!

I haven't even BEGUN to start cooking I've barely made it to T13. But I have plans big plans for that.

awesome, thanks for proving us wrong!
Thanks for giving me a video to make.
If you really want to see the difference, go to act 1 and run around with the wolves and rhoa.
actually looks quite effective

yeah I always am curious is shit's actually working and testing this shit can suck....Testing Apex of the moment however was super easy.
i re-spec’d into Apex Last night and it absolutely doesn’t work… for me
Make a video let me see. Its 100% possible an integration is canceling it but I'd have to see it.
now the question is, does it stack? what happens if you get full party with this passive?
Time Bandits stop all
multiplicatively, and party get less effect per player
Slows while only apply the strongest of any given type
Would you mind post ur builds seems kinda fun

have you tested slow magnitutdes?
I have not. I feel like I feel it though.

@@GhostoftheTenthEye yeah I have most of the slow magnitude allocated in this video I think.
Aight I concede, I guess it is.
you never know something actually works until you test it...GGG has had many none functioning things in their games for years before people notice.
not only you're unpaid to test it. you've actually paid for it. early access is gourmet for beta testing.
I am basedard. I'll pay you 30 bucks to beta test your product...I'll be a millionaire any day with this business strategy.
@Basedard but I'll be honest, I'm happy testing this one.
"they haven't tested it and i guess its our job"
yes that's the point of early access.
Take ggg's D out your mouth and start thinking before typing next time, ty :)
Nope that's a side effect of early access. The point of early access to to collect revenue before the games finished.

You have the note in tree reduce 25% recoup time. So chronomancer have 3 second recoup actually
@@Hungle-ew9yv You're right! Either way I hope someone comes up with some great Chrono builds. Merry Christmas!
