Sir, I absolutely understand the need to find the angles of the countersink bit, but you also understand that under the screw head itself, those extrusions are essentially the countersink cutters. Most odd angle screw heads usually have those built in to accommodate the off standard angle and the rounded points of the flutings. Edit: I am sure you knew this already, but in the case you did not, I felt that perhaps (with all do respect, sir) angle calculations this intricate would be kinda moot. I mean no disrespect, just injecting some unsolicited input.

It is a good input. During manufacturing a screw is made by being formed out of a wire that comes on a spool. The head is formed by 'heading', which presses metal into forming dies. The dies have relief cuts in them that allow their expansion due to heat while keeping the screw head the same size. Some metal squeezes into the relief gaps of the forming dies, just like with casting or injection molding,
The pitch of the screw thread even on finer thread pitches (0.6 or 0.8mm forward motion per each full turn) make it difficult to cut into MDF or or particle board because contact time without stripping the thread is short, so only a fraction of the conical surface can be cut.

@@apprenticemath well, there you have it. I think my comment may be completely out of sync then. Thank you for clearing that up. Back to school for this kid.

The store only sold 82 degree bits. This video is pretty useless considering 82 and 90 degree angles are about all anyone will ever find at their local hardware store.

All? Really? Maybe venture outside of Washtucna.

I'm right, hence your elitism in regards to location. You are a very small person.
I live in Spokane, hardly Washtucna.
