Lovely video, Sam! I last visited Aix about 35 years ago and the Fontaine de la Rotonde sticks in my memory along with an interesting fountain, not particularly fancy, that was covered in moss. Is it along the Cours Mirabeau? I can’t remember. So nice to revisit Aix en Provence in your vlogs, Sam. Happy, happy days ☀️ ❤
It is definitely unforgettable. Thanks for sharing your favorite with me 🥰 There are two that are covered in Moss along Cours Mirabeau and they are beautiful as well!
It's beautiful, dear Sam. The only thing is that it's too hot right now. Sep.is way better. Very happy for you that you will welcome your mom soon! You are glowing differently. Your face is glowing 😊🤍
Hi Sam, I'd be really interested to know where all the buses go from the Aix Coach Station - if they go to small towns and villages, how easy it is, the cost, etc If I decide to stay in Aix as a base and don't have my own car, it would be good to know what's accessible in the area. And your shots of different aspects of the town are gorgeous.
I am not quite knowledgeable about this topic. I have taken a bus to L’Isle sur la Sorgue for I believe almost 20 euros and there is also a bus to Lourmarin for about 5 euros. ☺️ Those are the only two buses I’ve taken.
Have you ever felt in your body? The feeling of really, really, really wanting to be somewhere right this second? I do live in Hawaii which many call paradise but France has my heart❤ And yes, I absolutely enjoyed it! Merci beaucoup!
Such a beautiful video. I will be in Aix for the month of September and I can’t wait to explore all the beautiful places. I was there two years ago for the first time for a few days and am so excited to come back. There’s lots that I have yet to see but your recommendations are top of the list. Thank you for sharing.
Aix is so pretty, and peaceful. I don’t remember the name of the place, but just off of one of the squares, I had the best gelatos. I’m not usually into it, but after lunch, my nephew wanted something cold and sweet. I could spending 2-3 days there as well, if you wanted to relax.
Hi, Sam! My favorite fountain is Fontaine de la Rotonde because it's iconic and it will always remind me of Cours Mirabeau. I had dreamed of visiting the Provence Region since 2011 and after 13 years, I finally got there. Aix and the other towns in that spot in France were so much better than I had imagined. I followed you on Instagram and here on TH-cam before my trip last July. Your guide about the open markets in Aix were quite helpful. I miss walking around Cours Mirabeau, enjoying a meal at one of the restaurants while people watching, and many other things. I don't know if I'd still make it back there, but it doesn't hurt to dream😁
It’s the perfect fountain to welcome you into Aix! I’m so glad the videos helped last years trip☺️ I love being able to share this city with you guys! I hope you will be able to return again🫶🏽
My favorite fountain of all is in Aix at Place des Quatre- Dauphins! I saw it for the first time on a school trip in 6th grade and fell in love with it. Last year (17 years later) I visited again and it is such a special place for me
Love this video so much!!! Can't wait to travel to Europe again. Now that i'm older I think I will enjoy more of Europe because I won't be out partying like I used to when I would travel. LOL.
@@SamFournier Yes this time it will be for a couple of months and i will DEFINITELY stop by Aix-En-Provence at least for a few days. I also want to go to some of the other little towns in that area. Some of the ones you've shown us on your channel. I had to watch the video again this morning. I love this video!!

Il y a un proverbe chez nous qui dit jamais deux cents trois.
Definitely the top of many people’s list 😍! That must’ve been so amazing to see it 17 years later - so special.

Hi Sam,
Tommy and I will be in Aix next week. Your videos are so helpful.
Do you have any tips about renting a car?
Thanks.
Hi Tommy! Unfortunately I’ve never rented a car here in Provence so I don’t have any recommendations. I hope you enjoy your time in Provence ☺️
