My partner and I are planning on moving there around six months! We just turned 30.. no kids I’m wondering if it’s easy to make friends? This is the part we’re actually most nervous about. We also don’t speak French… Beginner but not enough to make friends LOL. Any advice or insights would be so much appreciated.

Sam, beautiful, soulful video. Good luck with the winter blues. Have you maybe considered having a couple little French kids? Raising them bilingual, bicultural, in the south of France? Sounds lovely to me! And as a parent, I sometimes reflect on how challenging and exhausting being a dad is, but they really bring tremendous deep meaning to life. My (no longer very) little partners in crime!

Aix-en-Provence is in the news today. A 86 years old woman who lived in the camping site of Aix en Provence commited suicide because she was forced to leave. She had lived there for 30 years.
