This is actually the type of video I have wanted to watch of Bear 399 and her cubs. Out in the wild, doing what bears do. How fortunate you are to have captured such a wonderful video. Thank you for sharing this. What I especially like is you waited to post it so no others could distract from them. Great thinking! You are truly about their safety. 💗
This is better then national geographic's and I love them. So you know you do an outstanding job filming and editing these videos. I love the music you choose as well.
Thank you for posting such amazing footage of this famous family! Ps: I watched all or most of your last video on them and one on wildlife around you. I never would have known that Moose could be so tough, I would have been like, here Moosy Moose (oops, I’m dead) 🤣. I would think that your cooking smells would bring on unwanted guests, no? I want you to know what an inspiration you are to me! Bless you for living among our wildlife and coexisting so peacefully! Much love, Susan near Chicago ✝️🙏🌎💞🐕🐈🐨🦥🐈⬛🤗😘
I totally luv your coverages! So educational, and informative ... thanx ... oh, and your 1812 overture? simply delightful (last video) ... I'm 'with you' on classical music ... :)
Hi again ARIEL What a good mama to be able to care for four! They all were in good shape when you took this. Very consistent in their weights too. Lots of berries to fill up the five of them!!! Thx as always. Enjoyed seeing them again. Hope all is good with you and Burley...
You are so fortunate to have such a birds eye view few of us would ever see. I love witnessing daily life of this family unit. I love watching the cubs following in single file behind their mother.
I just stumbled on your videos and subscribed! As much as I would love to see the queen and her Cubs, I enjoy ur videos because it shows them in natural environment without the multitude of tourists and photographers! I love your tiny home!!
Amazing footage Ariel. Now with careful forward planning you should be able to get the animals to move in time to the music. Thank you for sharing your life. Take care. Atb from down here in Nz.
New Sub here I worked up in the Teton Ntl. Park for 8 months back in 2014. We saw 399 from time to time. So nice to hear she’s doing great up in the wilds of WY 🥰
I love your channel BTW, and I am glad to see you posting videos again. I want to try the vanilla bottling so much, but I have no use for it as I do not bake and an ounce of vanilla can last me years.
Darn it, that Ariel from over at Fy Nyth and her Burley puppy dog has beaten us to the berries again baby bears. Yes Mama Bear, they bring their huge baskets along and what they don't guzzle on site they take home and preserve for pies, jams and delicious treats to enjoy all Winter long, never thinking what us poor, famished bear cubs will have left to survive on. Goin to report them to the Wildlife Ranger baby dears, and then I will call round and have a few words in their ears, wont be too pleasant, cheek of them sneaking about the place filming us without so much as a by your leave, going to have that camera of hers confiscated one of these days. Off ye go now children and chase that ol moose.
It was the number given to her years ago when the bear monitors first started tracking her movements. There are a lot of numbered bears and that just happens to be the one she was given. One of her daughters is know as 610, and there are many more.
She was here full time for a few weeks, then in and out of the yard for a bit, and now I haven't seen her in a while. She looked great when I last did, so I am going to assume she is happily munching willows somewhere else along a creek. She was well fed and eating great so she should be fine unless a bigger predator finds her.
@@hollyslaughter5505 Well she could get hit on a road by a person, but a much bigger risk to her would be mountain lions, wolf packs, and grizzly bears. All of which eat moose but would have a much harder time with a full grown one.

Gorgeous views of the Mama Bear and her 4 cubes 🥰! How did you get to flim (record) them so closely? What type of camera did you use? A Drone cameras? Anyway I love this its therapeutic thanks for sharing!
They came to my house, yard, and the woods and berry patches right around where I live and stayed here for a little while. Check out the past couple videos on the channel for more of them if you like! You can find all my camera gear described here - th-cam.com/video/7xUe0AM9BEk/w-d-xo.html. I've never used a drone.
Well they do all look different, much like people. :) And I have seen her quite a few times over many years. There's a decent number of different bears I can identify by sight. And she's the only grizzly in my area who has 4 cubs this year. And all the paparazzi were trying to follow and find her. And Fish & Game's bear specialist confirmed it was her.
Please forgive my ignorance. I do not live where it snows, I have no dangerous wildlife around me. I have never had a dog. What do you do about the dog being outside and potentially coming in close proximity with a dangerous animal? To me, I would have to hike the area prior to letting the dog outside or have the dog on a close leash each time we went out. Would a dog avoid danger or run toward a bear, moose, panther, whatever? ( Other areas around me with a lake could have gators: I have seen a pair of coyotes about 4 miles away in a more wooded area. There could potentially be a rabid raccoon, but I live in the city in a residential area with hardly any undeveloped land. )

There was a really heavy crop of wild berries last year!

Beautiful bears, I wonder why mom has 4 cubs. I don't think that's very common but all the more beautiful to watch. Thank very much. P.S. great music.
It is somewhat rare for a grizzly to have 4. And for them all to make it into their second year too. She is a very good mama.
You got a lot of photo ops with this lovely family. 🥰
Wow- Great Footage! Thank you for sharing!!

That moose would have been a nice meal. He was smart to keep his distance. Thanks for sharing! Love the music too!
5 bears against 1 moose, definitely keep moving Mr. Moose! 😳

Is a bigger predator human or a big cat?

Ariel, have you seen the baby girl moose lately? I hope so.
