I think it's almost 10 years that The Network came out and there's still people arguing about the fact whether they're Green Day or not. THEY ARE. And yet they're not.
love this band!! they introduced me to electronic music (daft punk, kraftwerk, etc). its a great outlet for the boys, very different. i have not met a fan of The Network in person, so i take great pride in saying i am one. and the best part is, they do a killer job!
The Network includes members of Green Day: Billie Joe, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool. The Network also includes their touring members, Jason White and Jason Freeze.
to show different parts of their personalitie i think and just to have a different of variety and exitment in the media industry. i want them to make a new album!!!! i need more Network!!!!!

roland g-707 guitar. i think they were only made in the 80s. very cool design. gibson also had some old, angular models similar to that...except they were quickly discontinued with the explorer and the v being the only ones that survived...personally, i liked the corvus and the RD.
In some ways this side project makes me think of Bad Religion doing “into the unknown” a progressive and fun detour from standard punk while fashion punks everywhere have their heads are spinning in rage (then again those fashion punks usually also don’t like Green Day) but still I appreciate this.

this aint green day. the band was founded by the greenday members, but its a band with a different style than greenday, thats the reason it was founded. heard this song just for the first time, and it sounds damn great

you can totally tell this is green day. that is totally billie's style of playing guitar, and his voice is too unique for him to have a secret identity in a band. you can tell it's mike just by looking at him, and i can kinda tell by his voice and the way he plays the bass. i can kinda tell it's tre because of the way he plays the drums, and the other guitarist has to be jason white. i can tell by the way he plays the guitar. how could it not be them?

Mike's just so obvious. You can tell by the shape of his head (IDK I guess he has a very distinguishable head) and also the way he plays the bass is just classic Mike Dirnt.

We're not f***ing Slipknot!" Yet here is Green Day a few years later, disguised as The Network, and WEARING MASKS! It just doesn't make sense to me.

They're under Adeline Records like all the other side porjects, they sound like them, look like them, their background stories sound like something Tre made up while high and if you look at pictures you can see Billie's tattoos on Fink. =P
