  • This is day 3 after my vitrectomy surgery for floaters. In addition to few side effects such as frills, I am also sharing my previous experience about the vitreolysis and its failure to remove my floaters.

    Hello, can you please update us with your vitrectomy. How is your vision now after almost 2 years? Did you get any cataract problems yet? Thanks. My surgery going to be in 2 weeks from now.

    me i have 4months retina detachment now i waiting for 2nd operation for taking silicon oil and putting another silicon oil hopefully this time will be ok

      How is your vision now?? You still have silicon oil in eye??

    Who was the doctor? Where did u have it done? All floaters are gone?

      Dr Simon Chen - Vision Eye Institute -Sydney Australia. All floaters gone. Very happy at this point.

    Did they left some if the vitreous?

      My vitrectomy was core, with induced pvd. I believe there was no vitreous left, or at least minimum
