Uncle Ben is such an inspiration, he left his job to pursue his career and interest in animal rehabilitation, works his butt off 24/7 and still somehow has time to make a video every three days that always feels fresh and is fun to watch.
I truly had no idea how much goes into starting a rescue like Ben is. It’s so interesting. The people who spend their lives and all of their money helping the beings that can’t help themselves are beautiful people. So much respect for the rescuers.
Bless Uncle Ben for taking care of a decorated veteran like big ounce, one winter I was back packing in Appalachia and underestimated how quickly the weather could turn. There I was in the desolate wilderness, in less than ideal low temperatures(20 degrees) close to death when I saw a light that in my mind felt like the sweet release of death. It ended up being Big Ounce on horse back, he picked me up over his shoulder threw me on the back of his horse and nursed me back to health in his cabin. I thank Biggerton because without him I wouldn’t be here to tell this completely true story.

Uncle Ben, I lived in Cozumel Mexico many years ago for 8 years. Many stray "street dogs" . I got a vet from Cancun to come & give many shots, vaccines for rabies & distemper. My favourite little dog ( Mrs Chuck)had distemper & though she was in a bad way she pulled through. Not a death sentence..Thanks for all you are learning & contributing in such a huge way. 💞🐕

FYI, for Mister Ounce's benefit: when we kept rabbits as house pets we would put ceramic plates in the freezer and offer them to the bunnies as a cool place to lay during the height of summer. Poor fluffs were so grateful.

FYI, for Mister Ounce's benefit: when we kept rabbits as house pets we would put ceramic plates in the freezer and offer them to the bunnies as a cool place to lay during the height of summer. Poor fluffs were so grateful.
