  • Super-resolution microscopy is a rapidly developing field that allows biologists to 'see' objects in living cells much smaller than previously thought possible. We can now resolve thousands of single protein molecules in cells, borrowing techniques from the world of physics and mathematics and using an amazing protein from a sea coral.
