Loved the explanation and context for why 4.5 stars is great. Always enjoy the content from you guys

wow. learned something about e-commerce sites today. delisting and relisting to try to game a "legitimate" 4-star rating.
In the US, we have a situation where most 18 year old whisky's hover around $150~$200 and finding a 25 year old whisky for less than $250 is quite challenging. Even most 15 year old whisky's are trying to charge $100. It's insane. It's absolutely insane.
I find it more cost effective to look for whisky's on U.K. websites and pay for shipping in many many instances.

I collect Benromach's Year Batch Strength, and 12 yr Cask Strength (Taiwan Exclusive).
21 seems too expensive for me, I will go for 10 for daily dram with Cigar.

I love Benromach and I'll even forgive the 43% abv at 10 and 15 years. I cannot do that with this bottle. It is far too expensive to be bottled at 43%. Bottled at 46% at the same price and it's just about okay. I'm sure it's good whisky but a total rip off.

Do you still have the same feelings towards Benromach 21 year?

Well this just landed at my local liquor store for $215 US before tax and I bought it before watching any reviews. I think this is the only positive review of this expression. Looks I’m stuck with a major dud.
