War of the Worlds is on my top 3 games I am hyped about this year the other 2 being Hogwarts Legacy and The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. This game is going to be so fun in both single player and Multiplayer and I can't wait to play as the Tripods.
Definitely looking to this game. Playing out in the wilderness will really fun as it will add a unique dimension to fighting the tripods aside from the urban environment.
The main reason to got into the forest and survive that way would be the atmosphere. Picture this: The campfire fades as rain begins to fall. you seek shelter in your tent using what little light of the campfire is left to find your way around. The almost peaceful silence is interrupted by the roaring sound of gunfire as the sky is lit up by roaring flames. The firing is instantly cut short by a sudden burst of blinding blue light and the forest is once more silent. Or smthin like that.
maybe have a multiplayer mode that works like infected. such as one tripod spawns and anyone who gets killed becomes a tripod by spawning in through a lightning storm and coming out of the ground in a random location. every tripod has a 3 day timer until they collapse so then not all tripods will collapse at the same time.
One thing I'm definitely going to try to do, is jump on top of the tripod as it's coming out of the ground. I don't even know it will work, but I will definitely try it. :P
Kit, I have an idea that could already be in the early access when it does finally release. I think there should not just be a free cam mode but also a replay mode for great scenes as well, but I'm sure this has coursed the devs mind before but if not it could have a impact on content creators 'like myself' when recording I think it would make a great feature.
What would be funny if they could add a taunt feature for the game characters like in TF2 so you could troll your friends in the game while you try to survive.

Hello Kit. I have a question. can we create our own servers with codes so that every second player could not log on to the server with your friends? will we still be able to release a probe while playing for the tripod? and the last ones, please ask the developers to add RTX 3060 shaders.
What i See is that the des definitly need to change 2 Things in this game.. 1. What is the exactly the point to Do in this game except from running away from tripods? 2. They need to make the map waaaaay bigger..otherwise i love absolutely this game and cant wait to play it finally
Really worried about re-playability, 4km² is not really very big and from what I have seen is no base building and no modding. So running around staying alive for two weeks is about what the game is at its core.
