I always spend time with him I use to tell stories play games I dance I enjoy with him.. This is just to make them occupied dear not for memorising purpose dear. He actually enjoys flash card. I'm not forcing him. If he is not interest I will not show him at all. It is to increase their cognitive skill da.

I am MONTESSORI Trained teacher. Working in International School. My little advice is please don’t do this for kids. Let them enjoy this days. Once they reached 2 yrs n above u can start all these things slowly but it’s not the right age to start. Now without ur knowledge u r spoiling their brain. Maybe now he understands n identifies all these but later it will affect him dear. Hope you understand.

So true....Ur comments really matters...my pediatrician said the same...not to teach kids anything like that...even memory tasks...he said if Ur baby is able to take a toy from where he/she kept it last time,it more than enough...all these will really spoil kids happy times....they need to be engaged in lot of games... enjoy as they like...
I live In london .here in uk midwives encouraging us to speak our tamil languages.i dont know why in india parents encourage their babies to speak english

Because english is a global language..... It only connect all the people around the world..... Ist language always child will learn from environment, neighbors....english we have to teach them... Automatically the child will adapt for bilingual..... My kid is 3 yrs and she is multilingual...she talks English with me, telugu with her granny and tamil with all of us....nothing wrong in this....
Children learn language by surrounding members. English is global language. We usually talk in our own language and we need to teach them English. Unless and until we not talk or introduce them English they won't learn as only books are not going to help lot. We need to practice practically so we talk as much as possible in English.

This type of teaching improves the brain development and he becomes a good listener once he grows up and his grasping power will be good.
Idea of teaching at early age is not to force things but just to sharpen his mental abilities. Provided it should be only for a particular duration daily.. prolonged teaching may make him loose interest.correct me if am wrong.

This is one of the method thats it,this method increase their concentration and grasping power,this method is most common in japan
I think the last part is bloopers XD I'm doing this too... but according to the orginal books that are still popular by Glenn Doman the best time for the the groundwork is the 3-6 months period or they realize what you said. Van Gogh sucks compared to crawling at 100 kmh. I also think you should have one word/image only and not two for comparison on the same face especially early on ( in the Doman method). What you shouldn't do is test the child on knowledge, or very very rarely.

Giving stress to small muscle like eye muscle before development of large muscle ll lead to eye problem. Children might loose their vision coz of these kind of habit. Teach them good behavior. Tell stories.

Not necessary. They learn automatically. Any they will listen not only what you teach but so many other things. Why do you disturb their learning methods and style? Teaching very early in a formal way is very wrong approach. Not needed. please don't do this blunder.

dont think it will stress the baby's eyes or it will spoil the kids brain, kids having much grasping power and high memory , upto the age of 6 they can learn very fast. no way it is harmful to the kids.

Kids will learn quickly, they will respond correctly if you ask them. You can Simultaneously teach other cards too. Nothing wrong in that. Engage with your kid. Happy learning and teaching to both of you .

Hi. I don't think shapes and colors are the right way to start teaching. Babies memory power is very good and they read the card shown as a whole and can't understand abstract things at this age. And it's too early to ask him to select. You can just go on and show him things around and name, act and show. Thatsll make him grasp better. My daughter turned 1 yr yesterday and she can identify 250 items correctly from charts / books / real life things, etc.. I have made videos too but not sharing on public.
