Yes after seeing all of the symptoms and treatments Ren had gone through, as a Lyme disease specialist he probably figured it out and the blood test confirmed it.
Ren's story is beyond amazing full of pain and despair yet with the tenacity to keep tiny shreds of hope when they come. I don't think I would have the courage or will to keep going.

I dont agree. Sorry. I know you’re a liberal but, NHS at its core is socialist. So when you design something to be fair it always ends up in redtape and corruption. When you design something to be like a controlled alligator pit, order emerges. The seemingly uncaring, greedy system of capitalism creates love and care.
The NHS is the Uk's public health service. It has been defunded massively during the 14 year tenure of the right-wing Tories. That covers the time of Ren's illness. It used to be very good at patient care, but the loss of thousands of nurses and doctors and the added pressure on the remaining staff had a detrimental effect. That's not an excuse for the neglect of Ren, which is shameful. I hope that, if our disgrace of a government have their way and we have a more privatisef health service, that it wont be the voraciously profit driven business it is in the USA.
Health care in the USA is definitely profit driven right now. My husband and my premium is actually more than my mortgage and yet my insurance doesn't cover anything. I still end up paying thousands upon thousands upon thousands in copays and procedures on top of the extremely expensive premium
