Ive noticed that so many people neglect SEO..but ive also noticed the SEO professionals or atleast most of em don't do a super good job of promoting their art to general public and prefer to remain nuanced :) It would be more helpful if you can do a video tutorial on keyword research.. and website audit. @@Adamerhartvideo i think Ahrefs in particular with Sensei Sam Oh have opened up nicely and are being transparent about the topic of SEO and kudos to them for doing that. Unfortunately and without geting into names this is not what many others in the SEO field are currently doing. SEO field has lacked a bit of humility and has had a bit of a snobby image in my opinion... The topic of site audit is a burning 1 so yeah i would be interested to c that for sure. I thought keywords weren’t very important with Google anymore because their algorithm can now read the content and translate it into whatever the search is about. For instance if someone puts in “water your lawn,” it can read “irrigation system” and pull up your post
I have never heard of any of these sites. How do you assess the numbers that you see? You mentioned 14k searches for lawn sprinklers. While obviously that's better than the 4k figure, is 14k worth targeting as a niche? What % of the 14k could reasonably become site traffic?
There are so many factors that affect this number it's hard to give an absolute. i.e. you could run ads and get them all, or rank #1 and get most, or appear on page #2 of Google and get none of them.

It can yes, but keywords are still important, even if just from a users perspective.
